Minor Detail Matters

Preparation of the work area:
Setup home protection, floors covered with paper to protect from
damage, house hold items covered with plastic, areas not being
worked on divided by plastic walls to minimize dust, debris removal,
dust removal and final clean up of protection. All of the above work was done neatly and efficiently to protect our living space. Benjamin and his assistant helped move furniture to another room to avoid any possible damages. They also removed and help store three French doors the were also in the area to avoid any problems.
Benjamin was very concerned and considerate of the upheaval and inconvenience this project would have on our day to day living. He made every possible effort to accommodate us every step of the way. We were kept well informed as we progressed from one phase of the work to avoid any confusion.
Drywall & Taping Phase:
Removed the bulkheads at the front of house and back of dining room, patched
4 holes where they had been removed and patched 3 electrical box holes from old thermostats. They just blended into existing drywall. They installed new drywall in the dining/living room over the existing popcorn ceiling and taped with 3 coats of
plaster and skimmed the entrance hallway with plaster. This phase was expertly finished. You wouldn’t know that the bulkheads ever existed. The degree of accuracy in terms of the smoothness and finish was impressive. When I completed painting the ceiling with the final coat there wasn’t any evidence of undulations (hills and valleys in the drywall). Our popcorn ceilings were history thanks to

Benjamin was great in scheduling me into his busy work load, as I was badly let down last minute from another contractor. I would highly recommend Benjamin for future work on my home, he is polite, easy to talk too, great to deal with, and most of all did an awesome job on the front of the house. He is also trustworthy reliable and dependable.

Basement looks great. Benjamin and his crew were thorough and got the job done. Will definitely consider using MDM for future renos.

In addition to the quality work, the team was very courteous and clean, being very diligent to keep the drywall dust contained. They took care of any part of the house they interacted with including things like protecting floors in areas they would need to walk through. Also cleanup and disposal of waste was thoroughly done.

Benjamin is also a great communicator through the whole process.

Do this job bail on us at the last second. We needed the job done in a week in time for our moving day. I posted the job and was pretty hopeless about it being done in time for a fair price. Benjamin came and looked at it and started the next day. He gave us a fair quote and out of all the people that came to check it out, my husband said he liked his "vibe" the best. He was knowledgeable and professional. Benjamin and his crew worked until well into the night to get the job done so we could move into our new house. He communicated with my husband consistently throughout the project sending lots of pictures along the way. They cleaned the floors really well when they were done. We're having them back to paint the walls and would definitely recommend them! Great work!
