We needed the drywall finished in our basement renovation project. There were some areas where the drywall was hung and others that still needed drywall. We also wanted the mudding and taping completed.

We had asked a few companies for quotes. One of them was Ralph From Calgary Systems Interiors. He came out and measured everything, looked at the existing work and estimated the material required and interviewed us to see if we would be a good fit for his services. We passed, and his very thorough estimation and explanations of how his services would work was exactly what we were looking for. It was way above the other semi-quotes of 5 minutes of looking and then giving us a cost that we had with the other vendors.

At all times Ralph was very good at keeping us updated as to what the schedule was, who would be coming when and what we needed to to to prepare. For example: have a supply of hot water for the taping, etc.

As the job progressed, we were very impressed with Ralph's crews that came out to do the work. The remaining drywall was hung in about 1/2 a day including a stairwell. ( I would have taken months to complete the stairs and probably would have fallen to my death at least a couple of times ;o)

Once the drywall was up the taper, Barry was out to do the next steps. Barry made everything look easy, he was very fast and his work was immaculate. We have a number of odd angles and bulkheads that needed extra effort and care and Barry made them look perfect. There was an area where the new drywall joined in the old (from 20+ years ago) drywall at the bottom of stairwell that Barry made look perfect.

Overall we are very pleased with the work and highly recommend Ralph and his crews.

We waited until the painting was done and the lights were hooked up to take pictures. The raw drywall didn't show the quality of work as well.

Ralph is the owner of Calgary Interior Systems and is the definition of great customer service. He understood our needs and bent over backward to find extremely competent professionals who could assist him in redoing our ceiling and repairing the damaged drywall on several walls in under a week from when I contacted him! He updated us daily on arrival times and progress of the project. Above and beyond the great job that was done, what really impressed us was the working relationship that Ralph has with the various professionals that he contracts. They respect him and he respects them. They "squeezed in" our job to their already full schedules out of their friendship and mutual respect. We were beyond impressed and would absolutely recommend Ralph and his company.

Great experience! We had CIS in to do the drywall and knockdown ceiling in our basement Reno. Out of all the companies that quoted, Ralph was the only one to answer the phone and provide a quote within the same week. Some didnt even bother to show up. Pricing was reasonable and start times were sooner than most.

Overall, Ralph and company were reliable, easy to work with, and provided a professional result. It was nice having Ralph to organize the individual trades and help with the prep and clean up. He installed runners and protective covers on all the traffic areas and even organized temporarily removing a wall so we could use longer drywall sheets. Ralph was patient with all our questions, addressed any concerns promptly and was there at the end to walk us through and ensure everything was done to our satisfaction. The trade we dealt with were super quick, showed up on time and left the area clean when they finished.

We were super happy with the outcome and experience.

Recently we underwent a basement renovation where Calgary Interior Systems was responsible for the installation and finishing of the drywall scope of work.

Calgary Interior Systems utilizes a well-defined process which effectively delivers their services in an orderly and timely manner. Further they did go out of their way to work with us to meet our schedule constraints successfully.

I would recommend Calgary Interior Systems so similar type of scope of work. Our experience was very positive!

Of course, there is a downside with this type of work - fine dust - that is created during the installation and finishing processes. As a suggestion it would have been nice to have additional cleaning services as an option.

I had the pleasure to deal with Calgary interior systems for my recent Basement redevelopment and all all I can say is Phenomenal experience.
I called Ralph the owner of Calgary interior systems on December 15, 2021 and he came out to my house at 8:00 Pm as promised. He gave me a quote that I felt was reasonable as Had done my research. Ralph asked me if they could start Monday December 19, 2021. Ralph said Barry, who Finishes the drywall would show up Monday December 19, 2021 at 8:00 A.M. Barry showed up at 7:50 on December 19,20, 21 to finish our drywall. Following this the ceiling texture fellow, Mike, would show up and complete the knock down plaster on our ceilings and as I was told he showed up at exactly 8:00 A.M. to complete the Job. This was truly a great experience. I contacted three other drywall companies prior to Calgary Interior Systems. Some of these companies Failed to show or came out right away but failed to deliver a quote. If you want a Class Act Contact Ralph and is his crew of Of Barry(drywaller finishing specialist) and Mike (texture Specialist). They Will Do the Job you expect. Ralph, Barry and Mike are very nice fellows as well and I would trust them in my home to do a great job.

Ralph and his team provided high quality, respectful service with a very quick turnaround.
Ralph was quick to come estimate the job and was reasonable with his quote for services as well as timing. He even protected my carpeted stairs and hardwood front foyer as the drywall had to go through the house vs through a basement window.
The team was careful and meticulous and not only provided quality drywall, taping and mudding services but also kept the area debris free and clean. The entire process for ~800 sq ft basement was completed over 7 business days, we were very impressed with the team.

One of the best people I've ever worked with, Ralph, he was always responsive, the best quote for price, and took care of all my drywall job from beggining until the end, leaving it ready to paint! With such people is a pleasure to renovate or develop a basement, made it so easy for me. He also went above and beyond and didn't charge anything extra when we had to rectify an electrical issue after the drywall was installed, and we had to make a couple of holes in it. He fixed it for us at no extra cost. Absolutely loved working with him and his crew, if I could, I would give him 10 stars. A rare thing these days, to find such people to work with.
