We just had our two storey home and detached shop roof done by Bassindale Bros company and would recommend them to everybody who is in need of a new roof. Scott went above and beyond to explain the importance of proper roof venting and the next day we experienced the results with our second storey being much cooler than before. With their 50 years warranty this will be the last roof we will ever do here. Their work crew is hard working and their craftsmanship shows the pride they take in their work, well done guys and thanks again to you all.

Onsite visit prior to work to assess job and suggest tile replacement options. Install team showed up on time and were very pleasant to deal with. Crew completed the job on schedule and the results are stunning. I would refer this company to others without reservation.

I read a few good reviews on Bassindale Roofing and am happy that we ended up choosing them to do our roof. They were a man short but still managed to tear off the old plywood, install new plywood, blow in insulation, and shingle the roof in just over a day. We're already noticing the difference in air conditioning so that's big. Professional and polite, I recommend contacting Scott at Bassindale Roofing when getting quotes on your roof.

I'll start with the good parts:
A competitive price (not the lowest, but in-line with the market).
Quick (one day) installation.
The new roof looks great from the curb.
And awesome manufacturer warranty.

Still, we had a few bumps on the road:

First, there was some junk in the gutters.
When I pointed that out, the guys cleaned it up.

I found the (previous owner's) satellite dish, that was fixed on the roof before, hanging by its cable on the downspout. I don't need that dish, so I took it off. It would have been nice for them to ask what to do with it.

I discovered a few other small issues with soffit vents and baffles, that were promptly fixed after talking with Scott.

All-in-all, the guys did a good job re-shingling the roof. But it felt like the team could give more attention to the details.

I would probably recommend this team for most of your roofing needs. Just make sure you check the end result and ask your questions if you're not happy about a particular thing.

Bassindale Bros Roofing just completed installing a new roof, from insulation, soffit vents, roof boards and shingles on my home and I am extremely satisfied with the results.
During the repair, the roofing crew pointed on an issue with a broken kitchen vent in the roof and were able to make the repair from above. A crew member actually took the time to go and purchase PVC pipe glue to cut and make the repair. By going above and beyond, this saved me the trouble of having to cut through drywall inside the house after the fact to make the repair.
Scott was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the ice damning and roof board dry rot issue that was present in my home. Thanks to Scott and his team, we now have a properly insulated, vented and shingled roof that was completed in a timely and professional manner.

From the time Scott came by to give us a quote and answer all of our questions to end of job, everything went smoothly and we were happy with the service.

Scott did a wonderful job explaining what would be done (replacing flashings, adding ventilation, cleaning the eavestroughs, cleaning up afterwards, all the details). The workers did an excellent job. They were on time everyday and worked to get the job done as quickly and efficiently as possible. I was impressed with their professionalism. But mostly impressed with their coming out to do my roof on Good Friday, Saturday, and even a bit on Easter Sunday. With rain in the forecast for the following week, and a window of opportunity, they got the job done.

Excellent company, workmanship, time management. I had the roof done in September but waited until now to review. Absolutely no problems. Looks fantastic. Above and beyond expectations. Scott was awesome.

First off I would just like to say that Scott truly cares about customer satisfaction! From the first day I met Scott, I had a pretty good idea that I would be satisfied with Bassindale. I still went about my due diligence and received a few more quotes. With all being roughly the same, Scott stood out the most by being the only person to actually go on the roof in order to get a good idea of the current condition of the roofing system. He was also the ony person to mention we could use better soffit ventilation. I was sold.

The crew was fantastic. I was home all day during the installation and was very satisfied with their professionalism. The roof looks great, and Scott is always available for any questions I may have even after the completion of the job!
