During my addiction my chimney stack was in need of relocation due to where the new roof joined the old. Framing company recommended Hoover's to us so we thought we'd give them a try. The tech who came out stood in our closet while the framing company did all the work. Got a bill for 4 hours of labour (he was here a hour and a half plus a bit for driving), and for parts that were not installed. The job is not completed to satisfaction as they needed to cut around some tin but now i have a huge hole in my attic where i'm not able to put insulation and will cost me more $ to fix

Hello Philip, thank you for your review; I will gladly answer your concerns. I assure you that you were only billed for parts that were installed, and for time spent, as our technicians track their hours. In fact, he spent extra time (that you were not charged for) to go get additional parts that the contractor didn't realize you needed in order to meet code. We issued the bill to the contractor who contracted us to do the work, and they approved all pricing. I would also like to bring to your attention that we were not contracted to do any finishing work, we were only asked to move the chimney, which is what we did. While the tech was in the closet, he was holding/turning the chimney so that the man on the roof could remove what he needed to. May I also say that the technician checked all piping before he left to ensure it was clean and free of any debris and obstructions (a sign that he did a thorough complete job). I assure you that we were fair in our pricing, and that we completed the job that we were hired to do. We have spoken to the contractor, and were assured that our job was completed to their satisfaction.
