Rock Stone Masonry

After a lot of searching, I found Wayne and Rock Stone Masons. It was a pleasure working with Wayne, very responsive, great communications and fantastic work. I was hopeful this project would turn out well, I didn't expect it to turn out as great as it did! Great attention to detail, and he is very easy to work with - highly recommend Wayne!!

I have a relatively new cement porch and stairs (not built by Wayne's company) that is covered in granite flagstone. The cement grout between the flagstones and holding the risers deteriorated. The risers fell off. Water and freeze/thaw had also caused one flagstone to crack badly.

Wayne visited my property, inspected the situation carefully, and clearly explained a very reasonable and logical plan for how to fix the situation. He then provided a very competitive written quote and we agreed on a date for the work.

A week before the date we confirmed with each other that the day would still work.

On that rather hot summer day Wayne showed up promptly, with all materials with him including a replacement flagstone. He proceeded to do the work, which was completed as planned, with no surprises.

Overall, a very professional job for both customer service and quality workmanship. The porch and stairs look fabulous!

Wayne of Rockstone Masonry and his team provided superb care to provide quality workmanship at a reasonable cost. He replaced our old brick window sills with limestone rocks and what a remarkable change that was! Will not hesitate to call Wayne for our future restorations or recommend him to our friends and neighbours. Thanks Wayne for a job well done!

Wayne from Rock Stone changed our existing window sills from brick (which was breaking apart), to a solid piece of limestone with drip edge. He always parged our foundation which was crumbling. Most importantly, before applying the parge, he took his time to grind down the existing cement - needless to say, he showed good attention to detail. Take a look at the pictures of the (1) window sills (before on right, after on left) and (2) foundation/parging work (before/after). Overall, I recommend this this company!
