I contacted Peter at Dorilex Inc to demolish and refinish an existing basement bedroom. From the start we were comfortable with Peter's knowledge and professional manner. The job from start to finish was a good experience for us. We enjoyed seeing a make-do room transformed into a warm, pleasant, beautifully finished room. Peter went beyond what we expected with his attention to detail. The workmanship was professional. There was very little dust and care was taken to clean up any mess. Scheduling was on time and the price was reasonable. We would not hesitate to recomment Peter to anyone and will certainly call him in the future.

We hired Peter and his team to do the drywall, taping and priming on our basement renovation. We have, and will continue to, recommended him to others. Peter made himself available within a day of contacting him to take a look at the basement and give us a quote, which was very reasonable. He had a team assist in putting up the drywall but did a lot of the work on the project himself. Peter did his utmost to get the job done quickly, as he knew we are expecting our second child and were hoping to get things done soon. Peter was also very accommodating to come back to the house right away after the job was finished to touch up a couple of minor bumps in the plaster that we noticed in different lighting conditions without making us feel as though we had caused him any trouble or inconvenience. Peter is a really friendly and courteous person and showed a genuine concern for our well-being (ex. taking precautions to not allow too much dust to escape to the higher levels of our home). While we are very happy that Peter's job is done, we will miss seeing him at the house. We wouldn't hesitate to contact Dorilex again for future jobs. Thanks again Peter!

Peter finished off our basement after our other contractor was unable to complete the work. We had originally asked him to complete the drywall and taping, but he finished off the trim and paint for us as well which was a great service. Peter is very friendly, honest and hard working. We highly recommend him for anyone looking to find a good contractor on other projects.

Peter and his crew were given a challenge drywalling and taping my third floor construction. Lots of angles with a ceiling height of 14 feet. Im not sure how much they liked the job as it was not easy or a straight forward. However they did a great job. I asked them to come back twice to do some minor touchups because I am fussy. Peter was there both times within a day. I would recommend Peter's company, his prices are reasonable. Peter and his partner have the technique of taping. I wished I found out about Dorilex while I was working on the first Floor of my house. Tapers who have the craft are hard to find. I don't need to look for anther company again now that i found Peter. Thanks again

We need to sound proof our nursery, and put wainscoting on the bottom half of the wall and wallpaper the top half. Peter did an excelent job and completed the job as past as possible.

The scope of this project was to finish basement space in a five years old house where my family was about to move in hence on short notice. I called several companies to receive quotes and Peter provided most reasonable estimate and was able to start as soon as we received keys from our new home. We also requested Peter if he could get the project done within 2-3 weeks before we actually move in.
Peter and his team worked very hard and focused. Within first several days Peter himself had completed framing and sub-floor. The electrician completed initial wiring for future pot-lights and outlets. Then the dry-wallers came in and installed walls and ceiling. The laundry sink was installed and natural gas pipe was routed to the outside with all connections required for the grill to be used (by plumber and gas contractor accordingly). Laminate, hardwood stairs and paint job were completed by the end of two weeks. Electrician came in to complete his work on pot-lights at two and a half weeks of project time. With any arbitrary requests (to place an extra 2x4 for future shelves, extra cold air return etc) Peter never forgot about these and yet managed his time efficiently.
Overall we are extremely happy with the job of Peter and his team and can recommend his business to anyone looking for quality at reasonable price. As company owner Peter knows and runs his business well on time and on budget.

Drywall and Taping of 600 sq ft pool house looks fabulous. Very professional and seamless... finished within budget and on time came to work when promised...had some builder defects and Peter came back to fix at no charge. Would recommend with total confidence.
