AGM Renovations

I was very impressed with the well organized procedure from the beginning. The interview to hear my idea's, house inspection and walk through for planning were done. I was contacted and updated at each stage of the renovation. All the actual workers were very professional, trustworthy and were a pleasure to have doing the work. Each day the work site was tidied, vacuumed and the debris carried away. The tile installer listened to my ideas and did a fantastic job. My project manager was excellent and kept everything running smoothly.

Very professional. Well informed at all steps. Walked through shingle choice, were right on time and kept things clean at all steps.

We are very happy with the quality of workmanship of our bathroom renovation. We feel there is room for improvement with regards to timelines of delivery. Our 5 week project took 7 weeks to complete and became quite stressful in the end.

Great basement, doesn't go over schedule, responsive to questions.
Adam was a great project manager, and warranty issues are addressed promptly and to great satisfaction.

My experience with AGM started with a request for a quote. Almost immediately, I had a zoom meeting scheduled with a Project Consultant. At the meeting, he listened to what I was looking for and communicated background about AGM and how they could help me accomplish my renovation. He clearly set my expectations about cost, quality, and time-frame. Upon agreement, I was connected with a Designer who helped through a zoom meeting pick out the various materials that would fulfill my dream of the renovation. The Designer then came and reviewed the space and put together a design making several suggestions for improvements that I hadn't thought of. Once agreed to, my project was assigned to a Project Manager who guided the project through to completion. Construction was begun and my team of builders were amazing! They kept the site clean and tidy during the build, they regularly let me know when they needed to turn off the water to allow for construction. They kept me informed of what they were doing and were excellent at making wonderful suggestions for improvement as they worked. They were a real pleasure to have working in my home! The project was completed in 7 working days! I am THRILLED with the final product and the process. I can't say enough good things about my experience with AGM!

Bathroom renovation started with the demolition of the shower walls and roof just above it, and removing the bathtub and floor tiles. During the process of the floor tiles removal, I was told as the floor baseboarMyd is damaged due to water leakage. As clearly seen in the pictures, the cement board is also damaged in the process of the tile removal. The contractor came on the 14th of November 2023, to proceed with the work without fixing the aforementioned damages, and demolishing the remaining side walls and roof of the bathroom. When I asked him to put a new baseboard, cement board for the floor before putting the tiles, and removing the remaining side of the walls, the contractor told me as he has to call back AGM to enquire about it, and mentioned to me as it can cost me over three thousand dollars. I can never understand how the bathroom floor can be titled with such a damaged baseboard and cement board. When we talked to AGM (Kevin), during our first contract agreement signing, we talked about removing all the walls, to make sure that there is no mold in the bathroom, which never happened; the tiles, and the ceiling. Kevin assured us as we will get a brand new bathroom with the coast of $33000.
The designing agent that was assigned to us, Amanda, wasn't helpful in resolving the issue at all, to say the least. I tried to get in touch with Kevin many times with no success, may be he is very busy to respond. Currently, I am waiting to get a response for my email from Kevin. I want to do more business with AGM, and look forward for a positive outcome.

I was very pleased with this project from start to finish. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and professional. The basement looks amazing and the quality of the work is fantastic. Also, the project was completed within the time quoted to me. Very happy! Would definitely recommend!

Daisy was very helpful in the design stage making many useful suggestions. Saba managed the project very effectively, keeping ongoing communications throughout the project so we were updated on a timely basis. The process of communicating days and timelines was well coordinated among Saba and the trade workers. The demo/tiling/electrical and plumbing by Aziz's team was top notch and professional. Harmon did a fine job installing all of the cabinets. The project was finished well within the timeline expected. Overall, this project really transformed our kitchen into a more functional kitchen with more cabinet space and a large island.

I would not trust AGM with a cent of your hard earned money.
We booked a full kitchen renovation with AGM and work began in sept 2022, after demolition we were left without a kitchen for 2 months (completion was an estimated 5-8 weeks) then work finally began.
Over the following several months we were subjected to a rude and incompetent project manager who we had to hound constantly to get anything done, several of our cupboards were built the wrong size, several of which were rebuilt wrong again and one of them took 4 times being rebuilt before it was finally done right. The drawers had to all be redone as they began breaking due to poor build quality. currently we still have a drawer that makes a scraping noise the cabinet manufacturer says is due to the whole cupboard being out of square.
The electrical was done poorly and after live wiring was left floating in a wall and the project manager told us the "master electrician" says its fine we were forced to involve the ESA to get things fixed properly.
The night the sink was installed and we were told we were all set to use it it caused a flood because the vent on the air line had not been installed but they "figured it would be ok" so told us to go ahead.
No lockbox was provided for the contractors to get in despite it being stated there would be and repeated we got abrupt calls from the project manager asking if anyone was home because a contractor was on the way. We asked for months that garbage be removed from our garage despite it being stated that would be removed regularly. damaged caused to our hallways etc was quickly and poorly patched and left that way despite a promise of "it will be like we were never here" and many many more issues.
Finally in September 2023 AGM decided our project is complete. Nothing has been signed we were offered a pitiful refund and when I suggested a counter offer all contact has ceased.
Every step after booking the reno has been truly terrible with some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I would avoid this company at all costs.
