Very professional and courteous. All the trades did an awesome job and where quick. Was finished just under 4 weeks (I didn't sign up for the 3 week deal). A trade was here every single day doing work except for 1 day when drywall was drying. Carmen the project manager tended to every detail and managed all trades in synchrony. Valentina, the designer, whipped up a digital 3D drawing of the basement and gave excellent advice on how to manage some tight spots like our bathroom area. She was flexible to make changes as they were needed and resend the drawings. Never once did I ever feel like I was over asking, all requests were accomodated.
Few things to be wary of:
1. Once work begins there is a $900 change fee if you need to make any adjustments. So make sure you know what you want right from the beginning. This is set up to prevent last minute changes and I don't blame them. For a project this size, customers can have endless last minute requests. I made 2 changes and paid the extra fee but to me, it was worth it. Carmen was awesome enough to let a few minor requests slide, they will charge for larger changes.
2. If you are picky about how the basement gets done, DO NOT select the 3 week package. AGM works fast, and I mean fast. If your not home to see how things are progressing, you may not be able to catch how things are turning out. On paper it may have looked great, but once you see the space and how things are being built out, it may not look like how you expected. This happened for my bar counter . It protruded way more than I was expecting so I managed to catch it quick enough to ask them to scale it back and saved a lot of space. It's better to take your time and let the project take longer so you can watch how things develop closely.
If on the other hand you don't care and are not particular, then by all means you can upgrade for the 3 week option.
At then end of the day, it was an awesome contractor experience and worth every penny.
