I used Rent a Wife in Ottawa for the first time a few weeks ago. Wow! My house had never been so neat and clean. Merci pour le travail impeccable!
For sure, I'll use Rent a Wife again! I'm a new fan now!

Cleaner was prompt, well groomed and very pleasant to have. Worked independently, quietly and accomplished task in time available. Had knowledge of and respect for antique furniture. End result was a transformation from dusty to sparkling.

We have used a number of cleaning services and none of them compare to the quality of service that I received from Rent a Wife. We needed a deep clean before staging our home and the cleaners made our place sparkle. They were meticulous, courteous and above all, took immense pride in their work. The cleaners were scrubbing this place down to a toothbrush and even managed to remove tile grout from our kitchen that had built up over several years. Our floors are shining, our bathrooms, windows and baseboards are spotless. Our house feels totally refreshed.
We contacted Rent a Wife on very short notice and Laurel, the owner, had her cleaners in the next day. Laurel also dropped in on cleaning day to make sure things were running smoothly.
Simply put: Rent a Wife is the best and I look forward to using their services again.

Wow! Our home with the 3 of us, a shedding dog and a new baby left me overwhelmed and the house In need of a desparate clean. Laurel at Rent a Wife assessed our needs, provided this and then some! At my request she was even able to supply vacuum and cleaning supplies. The big deal was the cleaner she sent. Clearly loved to clean and she was thorough, professional, efficient and meticulous with a great eye for the usually overlooked spots and really attentive to details. Delighted to return to a freshly cleaned home! Will be a regular from now on!

When selling our house recently we needed to have it throughly cleaned - especially
a kitchen that hadn’t seen a mop since the 1990’s !
After Rent A Wife were finished we could not believe our eyes-the kitchen we thought
was a write-off was gleaming !

And not to mention they took on our job on very short notice to comply with our

I have used Rent a Wife in Ottawa for several years for cleaning services at my home and that of other family members, especially in the home of my elderly Dad. Laurel, the Manager, is always very friendly, helpful and accommodating. She has very strict standards and the work done has always been of very high quality. We have had the opportunity to work with 3 or 4 different cleaners over the years and each one has been very hard working, reliable and very pleasant to deal with. Polly has done an excellent job in the past, and during the past year we have been working with Stephanie. I cannot say enough about how hard Stephanie worked - Dad's house was shining when she was finished. She always did everything that we asked and many times went above and beyond what was required. She is a very pleasant person and was very respectful, polite and kind when dealing with my Dad and with me.
I have had very positive dealings with Laurel and her staff and would not hesitate to recommend their services to others.

We have used Rent-A-Wife in the past and were very pleased so we did not hesitate to contact Laurel for this job. The unit was in very bad shape and Laurel was able to get not only the cleaning but also painting and some minor repair work done in the unit. It was truly a easy process and Laurel did all the co-ordinating of the jobs. The cleaning staff did an absolutely fabulous job! It was done in a timely manner and every nook and cranny was clean. Could not ask for a better result. Her work will certainly help sell the unit. We will continue to use Rent-a-Wife and would not hesitate to recommend her to friends and clients.

When we called in we advised that we would like a move-in clean. Chris was very nice and they were able to accommodate our Saturday request just 2 days before, which was great. Unfortunately, the cleaning job was very poor. Certain kitchen cabinets had to be re-done after I showed the cleaner how there was still black stuff in the drawer that could easily be rubbed off with my finger. After the cleaner left we discovered other cabinets were left completely untouched... It is a relatively small house, and 3 hours should have provided them more than enough time to get all these things done. We tried calling Chris for the past two days to further discuss the issue and have yet to have a call-back.
