Trotter & Morton

The guy who does work at my place is a really good dude. Its always the same guy and he know the bins and outs of the whole building.

Second time in 3 years a heat valve or something went in our condo. They did the work, and the heat was fixed. Hopefully this one lasts longer than 3 years .....

Don't EVER hire these yahoos. They are expensive, incompetent and you will end up diagnosing your own mechanical issues before they EVER will. On average, it takes 3 to 4 separate trips for them to even figure out what the problem is. This has happened on 2 occasions now and I would rather hire a monkey because it's problably more intelligent that anyone at Trotter and Morton. Don't waste your money.

• Trotter and Morton has been my base building contractor for a few years now and there service has been excellent. They are sometimes a bit more expensive than other companies but the work they do s worth the extra cost as I have never had to call them back to fix a job they did.

This has been an ongoing saga in my condo, and it took three visits from Trotter & Morton over the last two years to finally fix. The thermostat in my condo has never been controllable so the heat has always been on maximum. This has been fun...not really. The one thing I can say about these guys is they have all been really nice and friendly, and for the most part I felt like they knew what they were doing. I just wish they would have figured out the problem sooner. They couldn't seem to figure out what was wrong with my thermostat until the last visit a couple of weeks ago when they finally determined that one of the wires in the floor below me must have gone wonky and that was affecting the control over my thermostat. They have finally given me a portable transformer that will cure the problem once and for all. I'm no longer at the mercy of faulty wires throughout the building..Yay!
