Buyer beware - Misleading pricing
I received a great quote to have my garage door replaced. Was upgraded on the door so I could get the colour I wanted. Had asked if everything would be replaced because my tracks were bent, door was rotting, one of my remotes was broken and my keypad hadn't worked in years, and was told yes. When they came they replaced the door and the trim but not the 17 year old motor and remotes and keypad. They told me I would have to pay an additional $370. When I complained and explained how misleading this was they said they'd give me $20 off. Am very disappointed with these guys. Ever since I paid them my conversations have been painful and have gone nowhere. I would not recommend working with these guys.

I am sorry we had a misunderstanding but when I first came out to give you an estimate I asked if you would like to replace the motor and you wanted to save some money by leaving this one since it's still working. There was no mention of remotes not working and we fixed them on the day of installation free of charge. On our estimate/contract there is no mention of a motor and I don't understand how you thought you would be getting a better door with a motor for a smaller price then your neighbor with the same sized door. I don't appreciate you threatening me over the phone and trying to blackmail me by saying you will destroy me unless I install a motor for less than I buy it for. I am sorry your feable attempt of intimidating me into giving you a $220 discount didn't work and now you're resorting to bashing me on homestars. There is a reason your neighbors recommended me, and it is because I follow a price sheet and I have standard pricing for everybody. Your warranty will not be voided but please don't harass me farther.
