Our family has been using Shona for a couple of years now, and we have done various Projects, including decorating the family room and living room, updates to the kitchen, and a full renovation of our en-suite bathroom. Shona brings lots of practical ideas and tunes-in to your style to make great suggestions. She is able to make both simple suggestions and improvements, as well as help you tackle designs for larger Projects. In general, we have been pretty happy with her ideas and suggestions. She provides access to contractors, plumbers, cabinet makers, flooring experts and everything you need to pull together a Project. We were happy with almost all of the contractors. She diligently follows-up to make sure you are happy, takes your satisfaction to heart, and is mindful of keeping your project on track and spurring everyone into action. Most of her regular contractors are very good, except a couple times we felt we needed to pay more attention to whether it was getting done right but Shona remained always diligent about pushing everyone in the right direction.

With our budget and eclectic possesions in mind, Shona and the FBD team was able to complete our reno on time and with attention to detail. Two years later we had the team back to renovate the family room and bathroom.
We have not been disappointed. the Fitz By Design team is skilled and a pleasure to have in our home.

I purchased a second condominium ( approx 1400 sq ft) knowing at the time that it would need a complete makeover, from taking walls down to putting 2 new bathrooms , new floor, new kitchen & laundry room. Basically the entire condo was to be renovated and redesigned.

Shona and her team are enthusiastic and always pleasant to deal with. This is most important when the renovation spans many months and you see and talk to them frequently.

They have innovative ideas based on their experience such as putting a bay window in the kitchen with the granite counter top coming up into it and incorporating built -ins in many rooms based on our lifestyle.
When our home was featured on the front page of the Living section of the Toronto Star, we felt happy to show off this wonderful transformation that clearly captured the function and feel that we were looking for.
