Green Side Up Contracting

Jay and his crew are amazing. From start to finish, he delivered and surpassed my expectations. Even after I had a sudden idea, of a gate to the project. Jay was in complete control. He gave me a gate that blended in with the fence. They were fast, and efficient. Even their mascot (Fleetwood) was friendly. The family dog made a new friend.
If I ever need any contracting projects in the future. I know with 100% assurance , that Jay will take care of it .

We contracted Green Side Up to give us a backyard and front step makeover. After meeting with a few contractors last fall, we chose Jay as he was the most honest and trustworthy, and it was clear that he was really passionate about landscaping. His prices were reasonable too.

The crew arrived nice and early on the first day and got to work clearing out the old steps and patio. There was constant communication along the way from Jay and Matt on what they were doing, and when they were going to do it. After a couple of rain delays, they worked through the weekend to get the job done. They worked every day that the weather allowed, as early April was really wet this year.

After the patio was laid, new sod and a few shrubs arrived shortly after. The crew was very respectful and cleaned up after themselves daily. They were also really good with families, as my young children were often trying to talk to them.

Overall, the quality of workmanship was excellent and I could not have made a better choice. I am very satisfied with the whole process and the final product, and would not hesitate to use Jay again. You don't have anything to worry about if you choose Green Side Up!

Green Side up is good, they are professional and very efficient. Jay gave me good consultation about my fence (only required to re-build 1 side of the fence). They promised what they scheduled and completed within the time frame. His team is great and follow details too. The fence now looks great, very durable. Also, they helped me to fixed my pillars problem nicely too and they cleaned up well after job done. We very satisfied their job well done, thank you.

We have used the services of Green Side Up along with our neighbor for over 5+ years and have been very impressed with the services they have provided to us over the years. We have just moved to a Condo or we would have renewed our annual contract with Green Side Up.

I have been using these guys for a few years and couldn't be happier. The initial consult with Jay was so easy and friendly but at the same time very professional and knowledgeable.

It's very hard to find a reputable company out there. Even on sites like Homestars, they aren't always truthful because that company has promised a discount or some other compensation for their high rating. I can promise you, that this review is 100% truthful and no one has paid me or offered any kind of compensation. I just want anyone that is looking to know that these guys are legit and do a really great job on top of being professional and friendly..:that goes for the entire crew!

Reliable, never let's us down. GPS on his vehicles so you can gague when they will arrive. Answers his phone and replies quickly to txt and email.

six years ago the gentleman who serviced my commercial property retired and its been a complete nightmare ever since trying to find a company with comparable service levels.

I was introduced to Green Side Up through a peer who is also in commercial property maintenance yet doesn't service my area. Prior to the initial contact with Green Side up I had come the Home Stars (for the first time) to do my due diligence.

Om initial contact with Green Side Up in the fall I spoke with Jay who was able to answer all my questions without uncertainty. He was polite, very thorough in his answers and very confident on the ability of his team to execute on any commitments he would make. Jay also had a very unique energy that drew my continued interest.

Later that week we met at the property which is a strip plaza North of Toronto that has 16 stores, (two of which are open 24 hours) and nine residential rental units in the upper level.

The meeting went well. I felt comfortable with the abilities of Jay. Two days later (and as promised) I received a detailed estimate which was competitively priced, along with all other required documentation.

To date, and after 5 snow storms I'm happy to say that I have made the right decision. The property has never looked as good and or been as safe as it is today in winter and I haven't heard one peep from my superintendent who is normally on the phone complaining to me.

Every time Green Side Ups vehicles enter my property I receive a email notification and after receiving so many notifications I called Jay and asked him why they're on site so often. He explained that there are many reasons for his team to be on site such as checking ground temperatures to ensure that they salt when needed, plowing, post storm clean ups and to enjoy a roti from one of the restaurants!!
