I had a very old large plexiglass skylight on a high steep roof that was leaking and could not be fixed. Kovar took it out, re-roofed most of it and put in a more moderate size regular skylight. My tenant was very happy with the construction crew - minimal disturbance (1 bad day then finishing stuff). Now no leaks and looks great. Very easy to talk over alternatives, and stuck to time lines.

The roof was completed in a timely manner with any and all questions pleasantly addressed. The team leader, Jamie, was professional, courteous and accommodating. This is the second time that I have dealt with Jason Kovar of Kovar Contracting and an additional new job has just been arranged. A great local business with strong business ethics!

Kovar rescued us in 2017 when we had a botched roofing job done by another company. They were unbelievably helpful at that time and, late into the season, they were able to get the offending roof removed and a watertight roof installed in it's place. This time we had them back to do the roof on our shed to match. Another fantastic job by a professional, courteous and conscientious team of roofers! Site was cleaned up immaculately. Without a doubt I would recommend these guys. I would trust them to do any construction around our home - Next will be the walkway, the rebuilding of an entry way.... and the list goes on! The guys from Kovar did a professional job in replacing a skylight and insulating the attic. They all were knowledgeable, skilled and hard working. Communication was excellent and all work was completed in a timely fashion. In addition they were open to changing the original design in order to improve the insulation around the skylight. We were very satisfied with the work they did. I would trust this company to do any construction work around my home.

Jason and his team saved our house - they dropped everything following the Sept. 2018 tornado and made sure our roof was sealed up and secure for my family. They followed up later by replacing our roof, attic insulation, soffit and gutters. Called several companies on a Thursday looking for quick repair to discourage invasion by raccoons and squirrels. Kovar was only one able to respond by Friday, others were Monday at minimum. Repair was quick and efficient, first thing Friday morning. Price was minimum service charge, and $50 cheaper than quote from another company that I contacted.
