My house was built in 1991. One part of the roof is subject to rapid deterioration. Kovar Contracting diagnosed the problem as excessive run-off during rain. An extremely pleasant and competent team repaired the roof and installed channels to contain the excess water and protect the roof. They also fixed the chimney cap so the fireplace no longer drips somewhere out of sight during rain. The work was done quickly and there was nothing for us to clean up. It was a pleasure to do business with Jason and his crew.

We needed to get new shingles installed and we contactacted Kovar.
Their workers were skilled and very hard working. I can definitely recommend Kovar for anybody in the Ottawa area who needs new shingles!

I spent quite a bit of time gathering quotes, as a roof is a significant expense and I wanted it done right. Meeting Jason immediately put me at ease, and what other companies quoted as extras were included in Jason's quote. He and his crew did a great job on a difficult pitch, we're really happy with the results and service we received. I highly recommend Jason and his crew!

Kovar came highly recommended and we were not disappointed. Jason provided a free estimate which was in line with other roofing company that provided estimate. Jason and his crew were very professional, friendly and on task. The job was well done and the site was cleaned-up at the end of each night. One of the ladders had damaged our new eves through and Jason had it completely replace at no cost to us and without any hassle. A+ for customer service. They are all really pleasant to deal with and were quick to respond to emails even after the job was done and paid for. Great work guys!

Had our entire roof re-shingled with Kovar - and they have done a top notch job. The roof was a very a large job (3000+ sq ft.) with many ridges. All work was done meticulously. Contractor uses higher quality CertainTeed Landmark tiles. Highly recommended - small additional details were seen to such as additional flashing and valleys added. Contractor is transparent in their dealings with customers and highly dependable. Recommended Plus! --Come see our house for an idea of the work. Very fair contract terms and honest open approach. Kovar Contracting was recommended by my nephew. Jason came around for the free estimate and was very professional. Quote was very explicit as to what was to be done, and e-mailed. Job was done ahead of time, looks great and the cleanup done was amazing. His team was very friendly and graciously helped carry deck blocks in the garage. We were pleased with the quality of their work.

Jason and his team did an excellent job. He was a pleasure to deal with throughout the entire process. He provided references, kept in touch with me, and was sensitive to the fact that the house was one I was renting out and had tenants living there who also needed to be kept properly informed. The final product was beautiful. Extremely satisfied!

Kovar Contracting did an excellent job reroofing our home. They were professional, friendly and we were very pleased with the quality of their work. They also cleaned up all the debris every day before they left the site.

Jason was recommended by an HVAC Contractor who replaced the furnace. Price was no more than a roofer who wrote a number on a piece of letterhead and left it in the mailbox. Quote was very explicit as to what was to be done, so there was no guessing. Job was done on time, looks great and the cleanup done was amazing. While doing the roof the crew noticed that the flashing around the chimney needed replacing (not part of the roof job), and returned a few days later to replace the flashing at a very reasonable price. Jason is a very 'down to earth' yet very professional contractor. I would recommend Kovar Contracting to anyone needing roof work done.
