I'm really pleased with the fresh installation of my deadbolt today in my apartment door.
Dani matched the key of my basic locking door handle (provided by my landlord) to my new deadbolt. The same key works in both locks, which makes it easier for me.
I hired Matrix after reading the reviews here and after consulting with approximately 10 locksmiths. Dani was straight forward with me when providing a quote.
Once here, he discovered my door frame is metal and concrete. Not wood like I thought it was. I thought I was going to be charged more because of it, even though he didn't say anything to make me think this. It took longer to drill, obviously. My tough door frame even broke one of his drill bits. However, the invoice presented was the same price as the original quote. Despite the extra drilling, and the rejiggering of the new deadbolt to key-match my other non-deadbolt lock.
Matrix is now my go-to company for my locksmith needs. I wholeheartedly recommend them.
