We had a number of different contractors quote for the job. The Lee Group was very competitive and the explanation of how and when the work would be done was exactly what we wanted. The contractors that came to work everyday on timeand were very professional and pleasant to talk with about the daily plan. The Stone mason Chris was awesome , he knows his Stuff! The work was done on schedule, the site was cleaned up every day and the results were as promised . Great guys who do excellent work. Thanks Lee

Lee and his team helped design and build a cedar deck in our backyard plus a new length of fence. We were very pleased with the result and quality of the work. Lee and his team were very responsive, professional and timely in the service they provided. They completed everything to our satisfaction. I would highly recommend this company.

Lee group started job on the day they said they would . Finished ahead of projected completion date . Very satisfied with all aspects of the job .

I hired Lee to update my backyard, lower patio. The existing space had a bit of a wild, curved garden bed and a small sitting area of flagstones leading to my garage. There was plastic eding around the garden area and the flagstone area was constantly filled with weeds. He designed a new layout for me, adjusted the plans a little on the 2nd round to better suit my budget and completed the work in the promised timeline. The crew were great, the cleanup was immaculate and I am thrilled with my new space. It is 100% more useable, looks much fresher and modern and my friends and family are amazed what a change it has made. I would highly recommend Lee for anyone looking at new landscape projects!

Lee was recommended by a friend . He did there front porch and drive approx 8 yrs ago. I contacted him last Sept. It was very refreshing to meet a contractor that was approachable easy to get in touch with and all in all NICE. I was a little gun shy after meeting with the first wave of landscaping contractors. They all seemed to want to do the basic and in and out. No real thought to what I wanted. Even in contacting lee after reading a few negative posts on here I was moving forward slowly, but as lee explained. He's on a referral basis only . And in 13 yrs of doing so. Sometimes you can't make every person happy. Anyway long and short. He had great ideas, a good vision and the job turned out great.

Lee poured a new concrete slab that does not line up with the existing porch. New posts are not centred on step. Blamed it on the porch not being straight. Like a fool I accepted this explanation. The replacement posts are really poor workmanship, some of the front patio stones are uneven and have sunk. Side interlocking work is better but some poor workmanship there too that was never fixed.
As usual, Lee was rushing to the next job and said he would come back to fix up the problems. He did come back to fix up the posts but they aren't any better than the original. I emailed him numerous times in the fall of 2015 and he kept saying he was coming back. Then he just stopped replying to my emails. I held back $500. Not nearly enough to cover the cost of fixing this mess.
Lee and his crew seemed like nice people. I did check his references and thought I'd hired an honest contractor.
He did not keep his word and that just makes the situation so much worse. I really wish I could rate Lee Group Landscaping a 10.

Lee was recommended to us from a neighbour that had his driveway and porch done by 3 yrs ago (approx). I met with a few other contractors, but he felt like Lee really grasped the ideas and scope we had in mind, as we had to match with our main exsisting deck.... .. I did read the negative review on this site (only one I found) but went with my gut anyway. End result is it took 3 days longer then planed and the result was totally worth it. We are very happy with the look and quality of work. Have since recommended him to 2 other friends. thanks again Lee!

Lee came highly recommended by a number of people in the South Scarborough area. After reviewing his work portfolio on past jobs we thought he was the right man for the job, we quickly found out this was further from the truth. We hired him in May 2014 to complete our patio and retaining wall around a tree.
On a personal level we found Lee to be a nice guy and has potential of delivering great results, unfortunately we did not receive this.
We were very disappointed in the end results and the professionalism of Lee’s crew. We understand that Mother Nature is not on our side all the time but as an outdoor contractor you need to consider this when booking jobs. We were under the impression that the crew was going to work into the Victoria Day long weekend to complete the job before moving on to their next job, which didn’t happen. Basically there was not enough material ordered, instead of going back and getting additional material he took the short cut and didn’t complete the job properly. The retaining wall was slapped together since they wanted to finish up to get out and enjoy the May long weekend. The cuts in the natural stone were done poorly. We did express our frustration a number of times and unfortunately the bottom line was that he didn’t care. I even asked him if he was proud of his work, the response was nothing. We ended up doing the clean up ourselves and also our neighbours property since she was also affected (an 89 year old senior). We attempted numerous times to contact Lee and if we did get him he promised time after time that the job would be done to our satisfaction. Every time his crew came back they would work maybe an hour and leave without completing the job and left the area a mess. This went well on into the summer. A job that should have taken a week never got done. At the end of it all we ended up completing it ourselves in August by going back and buying the additional material and renting a stone saw at Home Depot. Our biggest mistake was that we had paid him full in good business faith thinking that he would come back as he promised to complete the job. Considering the amount of money we spent our expectations were not met. The reason why I’m writing this review now is that our patio has sunk in some areas. We our fixing this on our own since we wouldn’t even attempt to call Lee back. We know from past experience that we wouldn’t get a response. Based on our experience with Lee we would not recommend him. Find a contractor that takes pride in his work.

Lee and his team did an exceptional job refacing a old poured concrete verandah with natural stone and created a beautiful new paver walkway. Friendly, competent and very committed to doing the job right. His ideas about materials selections and colours were very helpful and he did the job they set out to do and more!! His willingness to help my mom out with a couple of other jobs that needed attention in addition to the prescribed work was great! Thanks for doing such a fantastic job Lee!
