I am delighted to provide a description of the wonderful work that Tonia and her team completed in our home.
Our bungalow on a picturesque street is in good shape, but had some hard features, which we found very unsightly. The living room was dominated by an unattractive grey brick fireplace and the hall closet contained a bulky, outdated sliding mirror door. We were eager to update the main floor but felt at a loss as to how to tackle the problem. Professional advice was needed.
Tonia brought her keen eye for colour and scale, as well as her many talents to this challenging task and along with an excellent support team, designed a fireplace reconstruction, which completely transformed the look and feel of the entire living and dining area. The grey brick fireplace hearth were dismantled and the hardware floor was skillfully restored. Tonia transformed the living room by designing a white fireplace surround, including an ivory-coloured marble accent and a graceful mantelpiece. A rearrangement of the furniture layout and pictures, along with a fresh coat of designer paint created a soft, elegant, and bright look, allowing for maximum window views and focal points. The heavy glass sliding door was replaced by a white French door featuring a gorgeous lace curtain. The cracked tiles at the front door were replaced by a subtle pattern of natural stone tiles. Instead of opting for the significant expense of purchasing and installing four old doors in the hallway, Tonia recommended simply painting the doors white and applying new hinges and brushed nickel knobs. The doors look great!
We are thrilled with the results of Tonia´s design and are enjoying our living space so much more now. Throughout the process, it was a pleasure to communicate with Tonia and her team. At all times, we were completely comfortable with the decisions based on her unfailing taste and style. Tonia’s design approach effectively combines aesthetics and practicality. As an interior designer, Tonia is passionate about her work and no effort is too great for her. She has an instant vision of how to make a space more appealing and attends to every minute detail with care and creativity. Her customer relationship is impeccable.

Tonia and her team pulled off a miracle. In just 9 days, Tonia designed and executed a beautiful bedroom complete with a built-in closet, as well as a pantry and exercise space in our basement. She handled all the details, made sure everything was of the highest quality, and was a lot of fun to work with. I highly recommend her!

After our fire, Toni helped us make design and material solutions that were contemporary, yet still in keeping with the original character of our home. We were very pleased with the results and her efforts to keep the project on schedule and within our budget.
