FR Fusion Renovations-No Longer in Business

After lots of research I decided to go with Chris's company for my simple renovation. What a mistake. They are basically a bunch of kids without proper training or experience. I paid extra to have the floor levelled for hardwood. They somehow made it worse than it was. The hardwood sinks 1/4" when you step in some places. They did a Frankenstein mess of the drywall, breaking all the corners and using hundreds of screws to hold the patchwork together. It took them 3 times longer then promised to mud the mess. Every time I talked to Chris there was another issue that needed more money. Lesson learned: always withhold 10% for 30 days after completion to have any deficiencies corrected.

The owner Chris is a good salesman but is terrible to deal with once you put down your deposit. He promises medium quality materials but actually delivers the cheapest of the cheap. Add to the use of cheap materials some really poor quality of installation (Lonny) and you are left with mediocre final product with plenty of defects and uncorrected mistakes. He provides zero transparency, nickel and dimes you more than you think is possible and is generally quite unpleasant to deal with.... so learn from my mistake and use someone else who openly lists the products they are going to put in and don't fall for the hype and go elsewhere. I have heard that they use a picture of my basement in their selling materials...trust me its dim lighting and make look good from a far but is far from good.

We have a rental house that we rent out to tenants during the year. We weren't there but heard that the roof had been leaking like crazy so we needed to get it fixed for our tenants right away. We heard about FR Fusion through a friend and they've been great so far (they're still doing the work now). Since the tenants are there they've been very respectful about cleaning. They know that I have small kids and can't go there to check on the work so they call me every morning and every evening just to tell me about their progress, which I appreciate. The communication has been great with them this whole time. The price was also what we were expecting. I'd give them a really high mark so far.

I can't speak highly enough about FR Fusion. They previously recapped my retaining walls and redid the stairs going up from the driveway. They're currently working on my basement and have already put in the floors and retrimmed the doors as well. Chris is very detailed and his team is always on time and on budget. They were very polite and best of all they did the greatest job cleaning up the garage (even nicer than it was before they started!). I was really impressed with that since some of the previous contractors I had dealt with weren't the cleanest. I really can't speak highly enough about them and have recommended them to others.

I need renovations in the basement, specifically in the bathroom and living room area. I asked a friend in Vancouver and he found the owner's name. They removed the floors and installed the hardware in the floors. I dealt with Chris (the little guy, but then I'm 6"6' so everyone is relatively smaller to me). The price was as expected, I was happy with it. I would recommend them to others.

By fate they came into my shop and after comparing prices with other companies I decided to use them for my indoor and outdoor renovations, mostly electrical work. I dealt with Chris who was very professional and gave me a good price. It took two days for them to complete work, which I was satisfied with.

Fusion Renovations painted the exterior of our house recently. They started prepping and painting early and worked until it was completed. While the paint was drying, Lonnie took advantage of this time to pressure wash our very dirty concrete walkway. Much appreciated!
