I will start off with the positive. The sales individual Julian was professional the product is good for the price.
I really wish I had read the reviews before going with them.
Unfortunately the bad outweighs any of the good. We purchased custom rollers, shutters and custom arch shutters (which had to be specially made). We expected these to take a while and they did. When it came time for the install the installers left screws on the window ledges and with two young children posed a major risk. The installers did install everything except for the custom arches. They were supposed to come and install those in November along with fixing a shutter. Nov 23rd came around and no one showed up or called. I called to be told they were not sure when the arches were coming. I did get a call back later that week saying that Dec 22nd the arches would be ready and they would fix the shutter. On Dec 22nd I got a TEXT MESSAGE the day of the install that the company manufacturing the custom shutters went out of business. They did give me an alternative solution which was appreciated but it was not something I wanted. I asked to speak to the owner and got told I could not. I asked why they didn't still come and fix the shutter that needed repair and they told me they didn't know anything needed repair. They rebooked me for Jan 11th and no one showed up or called. I called and got it rebooked for Jan 23rd. I got a text message THAT MORNING saying no one could show up because of weather. They rebooked me for Feb 10th. I called to check to see and was told someone was coming that day. No one showed up and I didn't get a call. I called on Feb 11th to tell them if I didn't receive a call from the owner that I would be writing this review and that I did not want to receive any more text messages nor that I wanted them to rebook me to fix the shutters. I received a text message telling me I fabricated the story and that the individual did show up. I have a 24 hours camera and was home all day so I know they did not. They also told me that the owner hired customer service and does not talk to the public.
I am not upset that the manufacturer went out of business, I am not upset at the quality of product. I am absolutely disgusted by the customer service and the clear lack of care for their customers. Text messages are not ok and when you have a situation like this to not be able to speak to someone is frustrating. The cherry on top is being told you are the one with the wrong story.
anyway in summary if you want a cheap shutter option with no "real" warranty that comes with headaches this is your place.
