It was difficult to find anyone that was willing to do a repair on an older Jewel Stone installation but thankfully Mike was up to the challenge. While the original installation held up beautifully (done by a contractor now out of business), the high traffic area and front lip of porch had come away.
Mike did his best to match the older, weathered colour of the existing Jewel Stone and I must say he did a great job. The project took 3 days to complete. Mike is excellent to work with, friendly, professional, thorough and a great communicator.
I would not hesitate to use Mike and his services again after the great experience we had with him.

Hired Venetian Construction to refinish badly deteriorated concrete front steps and replace rusted railings.

When first contacted Mike came out to give a quote and explain the process that would have to be undertaken to get to the final finish and look I was hoping for.

On the first day he skim grinded the steps and filled in all gaps and cracks, applied primer let dry then the polymer cement.

Day two :
Did a random template of design
Applied polymer cement as close to my chosen color as he could.

Day three :
Completely sanded all areas
Applied stain to areas of my choosing
Sealed complete area.
Stairs done.

Railings are ordered but will take three weeks before railing contractor can come and install. Will add additional pictures after installation.

So after three days I have had multiple people inquire about who did the job and how impressed they were with the final look.

Mike did an excellent job on our Front Porch Jewel Stone work. Mike was total professional right from quote stage to explaining the scope of work and methodology to meeting his commitment to start the job on time and actual execution. He was absolutely diligent and perfect attention to detail and it showed throughout different phases of this intricate Jewel Stone process. He worked closely with my wife to create a Medallion with perfect dimensions, came on a Sunday to measure and mark all dimensions to be ready for taping the next day. During actual design and staining process, he made it come alive and looked better than our expectations. His experience and logical recommendations helped us decide what to do and what not to do. In the end the Porch looks wonderful as you see in attached pictures, BEFORE & AFTER. It was a bit far for Mike to come from Scarborough to Nobelton but he was dot on time every day and complete the job with passion and as it is his own home. Thank you Mike! Raj

My parents purchased a home and the front porch/steps was decorative concrete that was ridiculously slippery in the wet or winter weather.
