There comes a time when home owners, must replace their old worn-out windows.
After a number of quotes and review of the manufacturer's window specifications that the window replace company dealt with, we decided to select Stittsville Windows.
We had all our external windows, plus our front door replaced.
I was pleased to see the attention to detail and the workmanship to the inside and exterior of the window trim.
The crew was polite, courteous and impeccable on cleanup at the end of each day.
Were there issues. With all jobs, yes, there always is. The important fact is that all issues were resolved to our satisfaction.
With that said. I would recommend Sittsville Windows for your Windows and Door replacement. You will be happy with the excellent workmanship on the installation.

SWD delivered 'Customer Service' like it should be. Janet was amazing in the attention she paid to our needs and the advice she provided us throughout the whole exercise. The door was delivered when promised and installed meticulously by the installation team. I am a stickler for quality and service, especially when it is promised and Janet and SWD sure delivered on all fronts. I obtained quotes from a number of others big box stores and specialists, and in the end, SWD was extremely competitive and their service can't be matched.

SWD has by far one of the best windows and pricing in the Ottawa region. I did my home work going through a few places, and getting plenty of quotes. SWD came out on top in every categories, to top it all off the warranty is what convince me to sign with SWD. Reed Andrews was a good person to deal with from start to end, and very professional. Although we did have a hickup with the quote, and a couple of minor issues, but in the end it worked out well for the both of us.

Work crews was very good and did an outstanding job cleaning up after each day. We try to help them as they try to help us. It worked well both way.

A couple of cranks were broken when it arrived with the windows, however, SWD was there to replace it without any question.

Bottom line is that I would recommend this company to anyone who is thinking of getting their windows or door replace. Talk to Reed he can help you.

I was very impressed with the demonstration offered by the sales rep that visited me in my home. The other company that came to my home gave me a quote on a piece of paper, tossed a brochure at me and told me how good his company was!
The installers were terrific...friendly, covered my floors everywhere they walked and cleaned up after themselves.
The windows so far are great. Hope to see some energy savings this winter! Would recommend this company for their customer service alone.

Project was done in an acceptable manner and time frame. Alex the Manager of Installation was great and had very good understanding with regards to the products sold by SWD.

I had a great experience with Stittsville Window and Doors. Most of the time I ignore those cold calls you get from companies but I was in need of a new front door and they called me one evening. Janet has really good customer service. I tried other companies that basically did not seem to care or want my business. The front door was installed in Dec 2012 and it is looking great.

From our initial contact with "Stittsville Doors and Windows" to completed installation, we were very pleased.
The patio door is awesome, the extra window space changes the look of the kitchen. Love it! The basement windows are such an improvement from what was there. Really happy we decided to go ahead with it. The door and windows came in on time. Installation was completed when promised. The installers were courteous, cleaned up after themselves and were very efficient. Definitely would recommend this company.
