Shane Renovations

We were not living in the house at the time when Shane Renovations did a complete gut of our two story home. The project took 3 months, during that time they provided excellent communication and great customer service. What really impressed me was when we showed signs of concerns Shane Renovations made an effort to address them and rectify each concern so that ultimately we were always happy with the service they provided. I was very impressed with their level of professionalism at all times. I am very satisfied with the job they completed and even more happy that they managed to stay on budget.

We decided to go with Shane Renovations not just because the price was good but also because we genuinely liked them. Shane Renovations did a great job on completing our two story home extension. They were right on time - they literally completed the project on the day that they said they would. Shane was great to work with, and his sub contractors were very professional and great to have around. Another point we really appreciated was everyone on Shane's team was very conscientious and respectful of our pets. All in all it was great having them around, and we are very happy with the completed project.

After shopping around for quotes and contractors, we decided to go with Shane Renovations. They expanded our Kitchen as well as rebuilt our patio to have two separate covered rooms with a fireplace. This was a very large project and Shane Renovations handled it excellently. From start to finish the project took 3 months. During the 3 months they had quite a few different sub contractors come in, all of which were polite and very pleasant to have around. We are very happy with the overall completed project and would use Shane again.

Fall of 2013 Project start and complete - 1 year and half year later follow-up.

The money spent on this project was not small or insignificant by far one of the best investments in our home. The crew from Shane Renovations walked us through the process from start to finish including what to expect from time lines and project details. The team (Shane, Brad and another team member) made suggestions that did cost a little more (less than 10%) but made an exceptional difference to the project including the look of the job and the equity put into the home. (ie. Cedar shingles and cooper flashing)

I would also say that there crew that worked on site was professional, courteous and thoughtful at all times. An example is that the project was happening during Halloween in 2013. The job site was exceptional clean and safe for a day with so many small ones out for a fun evening that could have been a disaster if not for the diligence of the crew.

I would be more than willing to have Shane Renovations come to my home for future projects of both a small and large nature.

Shane Renovations put a second story on our house. They were excellent. They did the work in the time frame they said they would. It was pretty amazing, considering it was such a big project. They were also very professional and courteous. The pricing was good. You get what you pay for and they had executed a perfect product. The master carpenter was very good. Can’t say enough about him. Brad also was very on top of things and incredibly responsive. Overall they were great and I’ve probably recommended them a dozen times already.

Shane and I actually coach soccer together which is how I found out about the reno company. They renovated our first floor with the kitchen. The work was really good. The guys were really clean. They cleaned up at the end of every day. Dom was the lead of the project and he was great too. Very willing to answer any questions I had. I have no complaints. There was a bit of damage to the floor, but they were willing to fix/re-do it, but I didn’t want to have the floor pulled up. All in all, I thought they were great and would recommend them.

These guys came recommended by a friend. We used them to basically gut the whole upstairs and part of downstairs and re-design/build it all. I have no complaints whatsoever. The workers were polite, everything was done pretty much on time and if there were any problems they were quick at getting it fixed. The whole thing is under warranty anyway. I would use them and again and recommend them to others.

I saw some good reviews of this company online so I called them to do renovations on my basement. First they came to discuss what I wanted, create a plan and give me an estimate. Once they started working the whole thing was done in 1.5 months. There were no delays, except for with the carpet supplier, which wasn’t these guys’ fault. I thought they did a perfect job. I’m very satisfied and would highly recommend them.

Shane Renovations did an excellent job building an addition to the back of our home. They got work done quickly, were there when they said they would be, and always notified us of any changes. If we had any questions about something they were very willing to fix the problem. Overall they were very reliable and were pretty pleased with everything.

We were very, very happy with the reno these guys did for us. They did a whole renovation of the bathroom including the tub, they did the ensuite and powder room and they took away the brick fireplace in the family room and replaced it with a gas one. No issues at all. They were professional and on time. Their prices are standard. We would definitely use them again.
