From the first call with Peter, I was impressed with SYWD's service. A family run business with attention to good customer service, and you can tell from the first meeting. Peter and John made sure they understood my concerns, and recommended what they thought was best based on the best product. On install day, John was punctual, and friendly (even in the cold and snow), and once they left, there was no evidence they were even here. I was referred to John and his company by a friend of mine. I have had multiple renovations on my house and have been very unsatisfied with other contractors reliability and honesty. When I met John I explained to him what I was looking and that I knew very little about doors and the installation process. The Soames team, father and son, are very pleasant, friendly, and competent people to do renovations. They were very patient during the selection process of which model of door, colour, delivery date, and all other details. It is exactly what we anticipated: superior quality, properly installed, and on time except for a brief period of very cold weather, over which nobody has control. We recommend them without hesitation.

In deciding to find a contractor to do a relatively small job in the months following the flood, I feared there would be problems. Fortunately, I found John at Simply Yours Windows and Doors. The job got done and done right, but there were some hiccups along the way owing to some important e-mails that went missing. As I said: All's well that ends well.

Peter and John helped us improving our homes twice! We were so satisfied the 1st time they replaced our windows, and the siding + outside insulation, that we called them back of course when we bought our second house. Work is done to perfection, no detail left behind, they work fast, very efficiently and job-site is clean when done. No compromise on quality. We highly recommend them!

We were very pleased with Simply Yours Windows Doors' replacement of our windows. They supply Jeld-Wen windows, best in the industry and locally made. John and his crew replaced 7 windows (some quite big) in one day! They were professional and really took their time with the small details. Cleanup was great. Service was excellent. Price was fair and competitive. John only works with certified installers, these guys know what they're doing. I will certainly recommend Simply Yours Windows Doors to friends and family. Our house has never been cozier.

Peter Soames completed our exterior renovations in the summer of 2011. He installed James Hardie Plank siding, along with new insulation & trim. We were very pleased with Peter's workmanship & are still enjoying the improved look as well as the added energy efficiency. We would definitely recommend Peter to anyone wanting exterior renovations. Added before & after photos but they view as after & before.

The guys did a great job. Materials and workmanship were top-notch. Friendly service - and they were willing to make minor adjustments after the fact. Would definitely use them again for other projects.
