We bought a house and there was some electrical work that needed to be done to bring it up to code and for safety. Various things were not grounded properly, there were some overcrowded junction boxes and dead wires, etc. I sent Ian our home inspection report for a quick overview, and he came in and took a look around as well and gave me a rough estimate on what would need to be done and pointed out many quick fixes that could be done to save us money. After we agreed he went ahead and did all the work as promised. We had some follow-up questions a few days later and he was happy to follow-up and answer them. Overall I'm quite happy with his work and would happily hire him for other projects or recommend him to anyone.
The only negative I have is that he often showed up a little later than we agreed upon, although to be fair, he always called ahead and let us know and it wasn't really a problem for us.
