Ikea Furniture Assembly Service

Ikeaman is a terrific company. The person that came to my house, John is amazing. I can honestly say that sometimes you spend money and think twice about it - never will I think twice about what it cost to have my furniture assembled and installed by IkeaMan. John is precise, neat, unbelievably organized, asked all the right questions, worked well with me and my family to ensure that all the work was done to our satisfaction. I could not believe that one person could assemble and install all the pieces we had in one day, and the result is beautiful. Working on his own for almost 10 hours he assembled 2 queen size beds, one with 4 storage drawers, 3 night tables, an 8-drawer dresser, a bookcase, a media unit that is partially hung on the wall and floor to ceiling storage 60 inches wide with shelves and drawers. John thought through everything before he opened the boxes noticing problems in our design. This allowed us to return unused pieces without any problem as all were in the original wrapping.
I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Bought 2 PAX, 3 large double BESTAS, 2 single row EXPIDITES and one LAX shelf. Was reluctant to have anyone put it all together other than the IKEA people from the store, as a wall unit for around my fireplace and flatscreen, and going approx 13 feet up the wall in my loft.

But after reading the reviews, and reading all the great feedback, I thought I'd give them a call. Was Thursday leading up to the Thanksgiving weekend....I had the painters already coming on the Friday and thought was a long-shot but inquired about the soonest someone could come....Ivan's answer...."John will be there on Saturday around 2pm, will take about 4-ish hours".....fast forward to Saturday at 6:30pm....the whole wall unit was up and GORGEOUS, and the packing was completely, neatly packaged back up and ready to be thrown out and you'd never even know that anyone one was there.....except for my beautiful new cabinets!! John was so friendly, super fast, so skilled, I swear he could do it blindfolded....I simply showed him where all the boxed pieces were, and showed him a power point slide that I'd put together and he just DID IT!! JUST HIM!! hehe

These guys are truly a couple of class acts....they absolutely deliver what they promise and I would be thrilled to refer them to ANYONE!!

Thank you guys!....you're permanently in my contact list and my sister will be calling soon to have you put together her new condo pieces when she moves in!! MY HEROS!! C =)

I had an entertainment unit, purchased from The Brick, and Ikeaman did a fantastic job at assembly. I called Ivan and he was prompt and courteous in response. A day was scheduled and Michael came to my place to assemble the unit. He, too, was courteous, and also efficient, quick and clean. 1-2-3 and it was done. I was very impressed. Very reasonable pricing.

Let me thank Ikeaman its top quality service. In the future I
might have to purchase a shelving system and, if requiring assembly, IkeaMan will be the person I contact.

Perfect service. I highly recommend them. Easy to schedule, on time, and quality assembly. Ivan was polite and punctual at all stages along with the assembly man sent to my apartment. The cost was fair as well.

I had the pleasure to communicate with Ivan and have John for the assembly and wall mounting. Ivan was very helpful in setting up an appointment and quoted me a fixed price based on the list of items to be assembled.

John arrived exactly on time and performed an outstanding job. He showed great professionalism and experience with the Besta Tofta line of cabinets. Moreover he was extremely friendly, meticulous, and cleaned the whole working area after he was done.

From the first communication after finding this company on Kijiji, they ( Ivan in particular) have been informative, reliable, and kept on top of things. When Google Map sent the assembler to an incorrect address, even before I could become concerned that they had missed my appointment, I and can called to alert me. When he arrived, the assembler
John was remarkably adept, quick, helpful,
congenial, and his work exceptional. I found the price reasonable, the work was accomplished without duress, and I'm still impressed how one man could do the work with heavy bulky furniture items other companies claimed could only be done by two people. I have already recommended this company to family members and friends!

Excellent service. Purchased a Pax wardrobe from IKEA and as the assembly company they recommended couldn't get the job done for over 10 days I started looking on the internet for other companies. After contacting various companies I decided to hire Ikea Man; mainly because the price was right and they could have someone do the job for me in a very reasonable period of time. I mentioned to Ivan that IKEA had told me that it would take 2 people to do this assembly and was advised that his assemblers have done these wardrobes many times before and one person can do it with no problems. He was right - John arrived, on time, and assembled the wardrobe in no time. I had also purchased a computer desk which arrived a few days later. I e-mailed Ivan and he again gave me an appointment in a very short period of time. John arrived, assembled the desk and it was all done with no fuss, no muss. After both assemblies, John asked for the vacuum cleaner to clean up, packaged up all the boxes, styrofoam, etc. Amazing job, great people to deal with - wish all companies had this type of customer service. Would definitely use Ikea Man again.

This is a great service! I hired Ikea Man to assemble my furniture and he did it in no time at all. Great customer service and he even attached the furniture to the wall since I have a young child. Excellent job, they get my full recommendation.
