I got the duct cleaning done in my detached house from Dave's Duct Cleaning. They were punctual in arriving, professional with their setup and making sure to securely cover all the vents! There wasn't any kind of dust in the house during or after they finished the job. They also reviewed the final report with pictures. The technicians were helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

Per NADCA standards, sealing the vents are important to ensure that the system is contained to prevent blow back and under constant/significant pressure when the negative collection system is applied. Dust in the house after a duct cleaning service shouldn't be caused when this service is performed properly. Only time when dust can be an issue is during the agitation process whereby unsettling of dust on top of the ductwork can occur - these areas are typically not dusted and usually are pronounced if the basement is unfinished.
