Our backyard was a disaster with overgrown shrubs and no privacy. James and Mathew came in with great ideas on how to give us the outdoor living space we wanted. They did some interlocking brick, a custom fire pit, 2 custom privacy screens as well as planting a wide variety of trees and perennials.
Mathew is incredibly organized. If he says it will be done, it will be done! The site was always cleaned up after the days work. The crew worked hard on the Saturday to come in on deadline and Mathew was there until the very end.
They went above and beyond. Our backyard looks beautiful! These guys are AWESOME!!! We would highly recommend them!!!

James and Matthew were a pleasure to work with. I could not be any happier, Matthew even called the following year to see how the patio was after a year of use, a true testinate to the quality of there work. Matthew helped plan out and execute and amazing job working in an area with terrible drainage and around a large playground. I recommend them to anyone I know looking to have work done!!

Mathew showed up on time for our meetings, presented sketches and had good ideas and creative flair. When start schedule had to be adjusted Mathew contacted me in advance to move start date by a couple of days. Work then started as scheduled and was completed as promised plus we had them power rake, overseed and fertilize lawns while on site. Plus build a foundation platform for a large garden storage box. Crew were friendly, courteous and carefull. Plants and other materials used on the job were of top quality. Would have them back in a heartbeat.

We had our concrete sidewalk torn out to do waterproofing over a year ago and finally decided to get proper stones installed. We had 3 quotes, and what impressed us the most about Mathew from Central Landscaping was that he was the only person concerned with water drainage. He thought about things that would never have occurred o us - he noticed that the area didn't get sun so he didn't want algae to grow (summer) or ice to form (winter) if water was not able to drain properly. He brought us samples of all of the stones we liked from the catalog and told us the benefits of each. The installation was smooth and completed on time, and the care he took to the edging details and the drainage was remarkable. We were beyond impressed. I would not hesitate to recommend Mathew - he thinks about potential future issues and ways to avoid them.

I have a lot of experience dealing with contractors as it's part of my job so I already go into any conversation with skepticism. After being referred to Central Landscape, I called James and was very happy with his prompt response and professional demeanor. We set up an appointment for him to come look at the job we wanted done. We were looking to change the look of the front of our house including the front porch, flower beds and driveway. James mentioned that he would be sending one of his guys, Matthew, to come speak to me. Matthew was on time for our meeting and was obviously very experienced with this type of work. I asked him questions specifically to try and trip him up but he didn't bite. Not only did he have an answer but he had great ones that made me a lot more comfortable with their capabilities. From beginning to end these guys were a treat to deal with and the quality of work was excellent. I'm extremely pleased with the entire experience and Matt and James have temporarily restored my faith in the existence of an honest contractor.

After hearing horror stories of interlock companies online, I was recommended to Central Landscape from friends who had some interlock work done on their home. We have a walk out basement (separate entrance) and we needed an adequate and safe method for the tenant to have access to their apartment. We were having some water drainage issues at the back of the house and Matthew and James made some recommendations to disperse the water collecting at the back of my home. Once we decided to move ahead with the project, we were given an estimated start date. A few days before the start date, Matthew called and confirmed the original start date and that a bin would be ordered to remove soil from the back and side of the house. Both Matthew and James were very courteous and professional and made an alternative temporary path for my tenant while the work was being done. The job was completed in a reasonable amount of time and they kept the property clean & organized while inconveniencing my tenant minimally. I decided not to review until after the first winter to ensure none of the stones would shift. In the end, after my first winter, the job still looks like it did the day they finished with no shifting at all. Also, for once, my drainage issue has finally been resolved! An A+ job! Well done from a very satisfied customer – I would recommend James & Matthew from Central Landscape for anyone looking for a professional job at a fair price.
