It's my bad luck that I didn’t find this site a couple of months ago.
All the bad reviews here, are 100% true and I have the same story!
We met Harris, the sales manager, who was a good guy and gave good suggestions and ideas during the contracting process. This was the only GOOD part in the whole process.
We signed contract on June 15h, with a start date in 3-4 weeks the latest.

However they began to work only on AUGUST 19th after many, many calls and emails to them. That day they only did 60% of required excavation and driveway cutting in order to get the paycheck. 12 days later they delivered bricks, even we asked them to hurry up many times, but they just didn’t care. I paid everything by the contract and there were no delays on my side.
What’s funny is that their customer service always says one thing: We understand how you feel, and we will do our best to satisfy you. At the same time we lived on a damaged driveway with bricks all over our place, and a huge pile of construction sand in front of the entrance to our garage. If you what to live in such conditions, YES, sign a contract with MEGA interlocking!

Finally, they send a contractor to do the work on September the 9th only. When I came home to see what they have done, I was very surprised, as we saw no inlays with charcoal bricks on my driveway and front area like we agreed, and the walk path on the side was of a different design that we agreed on. I was stunned by DAVID( owner of the company ) explanation to me about the design changes: “What you wanted, we cannot not do it, because we don’t do it. You know the salespeople, they just sell…, but don’t worry you will be very happy at the end!”

Those contractors did about 60% of the job, and left due to lack of bricks available for construction. I was left with more dirt and construction material on my driveway! My calls to the office were returned with promise to finish the project tomorrow and tomorrow… all the times! You will understand that my frustration and suspicion about this company were growing very quickly, so I googled the MEGA interlocking and found this site, with the same problem in many reviews! Worrying about upcoming winter season I made complaints to Better Business Bureau and called Ministry of Consumer Services, which gave me the information on what to do!

I send them a notice on 16th of September 2013 that I will cancel our contract if they don’t finish the project according our contract in 5 days. Next day their guy was here unloading more construction sand and bricks on my driveway again!!! New contractor showed up on Monday , September the 23rd only, built a flower wall of their own design and left! As it turned out that “2H” mark in the contract, the wall height, was sold to me as two blocks in height with a cap block on top, but MEGA stuff told it meant to be only one block in height. The sales guy Harris never returned my calls or emails after he got the signed agreement from me. Nice job of selling one thing and doing another. Several times I told David that I didn’t like it as it was not what we have agreed by the contract, but got only reference to “the sales guy…”.

And again I was left with all the damages to our driveway, our downspout pipes system, with unfinished work , different design and promises to finish it soon, soon, soon…! So I decided to end this “nightmare” and immediately send them cancellation notice on Monday evening by registered mail and emails also. The notice states clearly that I don’t have any more relations with MEGA interlocking as of Tuesday, September 24th and will see them in court.

You will be surprised to hear that they appeared at my house by 4pm on Tuesday, trying to clear the mess and damage they left here. I told them to leave and never come back or deal with police! I have NO TRUST with them at all. This company has two faces: one good (according to some reviews here) and one bad. My experience was only with the bad one.
I better see them in court but not near my house ever again!
