Andrey's Hardwood Flooring & Stairs

It took me a long time to submit this review.
I hired Andreys company a while ago to install engineered floors in my house.
They installed floors in four bedrooms and hallways.
Job was done very neatly, on time, and they cleaned afterwards.
Will definitely use Andrey in our future home renos.

Andrey did an amazing job refinishing my stairs and installing new pickets /handrails.
He did the work professionally and finished the work within the time frame he promised.

We hired Andrey to replace all flooring in our 3400 sq foot home. The project included nail removal, new subfloor (and levelling) throughout, engineered hardwood on main floor and upstairs, vinyl in the basement, and matching stairs (new treads, risers, railings and pickets). We are so pleased with the result - flooring and stairs look beautiful!

Andrey was great to work with - he was professional, responsive and paid close attention to detail. He was also very flexible, working around other trades as needed. Highly recommend!

I recently had my curved staircase completely redone and couldnt be happier with Andreys quality of work and timeline. Project included carpet removal, installation of new staircase, new spindles, handrail, as well as sanding and staining with custom made colour to match my floors.

We hired Andrey to do a complete install of 1000sqft of engineered flooring in a 1940s built home that was renod in the 80s. Lots of challenges to any projects here as nothing is fully up to modern spec, joists had low spots and also sloped towards a certain part of the house.

Scope of work included:
- Full demolition
- New plywood subfloor + substantial re-levelling.
- Cutting back all the door casings/trim to accommodate the new height.
- Painting oak baseboards white.
- Nail down + glue assist of wide plank oak floors installed flush to remaining tile work + new fireplace tile work, giving the whole first floor a seamless transition free flow.
- New posts/pickets/railings to downstairs basement to compete the modern look, with a custom gate to basement.
- Lots of other miscellaneous tasks

Andrey was a pleasure to deal with. Came in on time, on budget, was very reasonably priced compared to others, and very helpful in the early stages with the many questions we had regarding the job itself and material selection.

We would hire Andrey again in a heartbeat!

We were extremely pleased with the work that Andrey did on our project. He gave us some great ideas about the work we were thinking of doing which saved us some cost and provided a great look to our upstairs flooring and to our stairs and banister. His work was on time, clean and of great quality. He also acted in a very professional and courteous manner and was very accommodating to our needs and timing. He also took the time to do a little extra work on some of our baseboards that needed attention at no extra cost. We will definitely be keeping Andrey in mind for any future projects we may have.

I used Andrey's services on multiple occasions at my old and the current house. Both times he installed engineered hardwood floors as well as refinished the stairs to match the hardwood color. The stairs refinishing also included changing the pickets and refinishing the railings.

Andrey is very thorough - for example in my current house the kitchen area required a large job in terms of subfloor preparation which he handled well.

Andrey is easy to work with and I would use him again for relevant projects in the future.

Andrey was very professional and I will have no problem hiring him to work on my home again in future. I hired him to replace one set of stairs after I fell down them and hurt my back. I am a single woman, living alone, and I felt very comfortable having him working while I was working from home and also by himself when I needed to go out. He worked very quickly and also with very good attention to detail. I live in an older home and the stairs were old pine and worn and narrow. He replaced the pine with beautiful red oak, using a single board for each tread so there are no visible cuts or joints. He also made them an inch deeper. Now they are safe and look wonderful. He cleaned up as he worked and I had minimal dust to clean up after he left. He was on budget and answered all of my questions clearly and transparently. I have already recommended him to a few friends.
