We had a fantastic renovation experience with Arash and Ramin from Regal Design! As first-time homeowners coming from a condo, we were apprehensive about doing a renovation. They quickly assuaged our concerns with their professional, responsive, and considerate work style.
They listened to our design wishes and were straightforward and thoughtful in how we could meet our goals for the renovation.

Our renovation included the main floor powder room, kitchen, and en-suite bathroom, as well as raising ceilings, replacing lighting and painting the main floor. They had their team working on the house nearly every day and kept us up to speed on what was being done and when. When there was an issue or something we wanted to discuss they were always available and offer multiple solutions. Many of which were quite innovative that we didn't think of ourselves.

The quality of work was the thing that impressed us the most. Every detail was done to a high standard and done with an eye towards design. We are now 5 months from our renovation and have not had a single issue. Before and After photos attached. We would 100% use them again on our next big project and would highly recommend them.

"I was referred to Regal Design Build  by my good friend, Vince, who had built a house with RDB. Before hiring RD+B Vince had spent many months researching various different builders within the Rosedale area before he picked RD+B.  After recommendations from many sources and seeing Vince's home completed with such top quality products and finishes, I also decided to hire RDB. What I really liked about RDB was that you would always get a same day response to your questions from them. They were extremely well organized in every stage and step of the project with no confusion, no hidden costs, or unwanted surprises at the end. Being able to phone the builder directly for any changes, queries, or updates, was reassuring as I changed my mind a few times with some important decisions.  They never made me feel like it was too much trouble or hassle when I brought up the changes with them.  The follow up after every installation was also nice, as they wanted to make sure I love each piece that is completed. Some builders attempt to avoid their clients once the contract is signed. They were always reachable if I needed them. The friendly attitude made every experience with RDB an absolute pleasure. Given the limited time I had because of work commitments, they kindly did all of the running around for me, and with the help of them, every meeting was delightful with no fuss. Arash & Ramin came referred to me by a good friend. They were described as young professionals with incredible work ethic and passion for their craft. Trained by the best in the city of Toronto, They are not only great at designing, building, and structural engineering, but also have really good project management skills. This was our first renovation project that we worked on with Regal Design+Build. which was an absolute success. We have received awards for the project due to its high level of craftsmanship, attention to details, and originality. Everything from the floor to the cabinetry and the custom lights were designed and built by their teams.  

Our two main criteria for selecting the contractor for our dream house were: 1. Someone we could trust and felt comfortable dealing with. 2. Someone that was capable of communicating every detail of the progress on the site, and overseeing the project every day. 3. A company who really understood modern architecture and paid attention to detail. We investigated many builders, interviewed four of them, and then narrowed it down to two who provided us with their initial proposals with their thoughts on budget and timeline. Ultimately we picked Regal Design Build and are glad that we did. Regal Design Build completely delivered on our expectations with respect to communication that included almost daily e-mails, texts, and phone calls.  Through this detailed communication and the ongoing dialogue RDB ultimately delivered on our first criteria: Trust. With respect to attention to detail, every aspect of the build was scrutinized by them. The natural elements and finishings of our house would make any fine furniture builder envious and the joinery is nothing short of exquisite.

RDB will not be the least expensive builder. However, we can honestly say that you would be hard-pressed to find a builder that will pay closer attention to details and deliver the quality and ultimately give you the value for your money that RDB will for you.  You get what you pay for.  It has been my experience that a home that is well built the first time by passionate individuals is worth more than a few dollars you may think you are saving by going with the cheaper, less qualified bidder. The individuals that we dealt with on the site were all an absolute joy to deal with and we now have an ongoing friendship with them.  That’s on its own is an ultimate testament to a successful project. We still get compliments from our new neighbours along the lines of "we miss those polite young men who built your home" or " I have never seen such a ridiculously tidy construction site.

At the end of the day we are looking forward to the possibility of future projects with Ramin and Arash and their crew and a lifetime of visits from our friends to our new house.

We wanted to renovate the interior and exterior of our old Victorian property in Downtown Toronto. This was a challenging endeavour that was a major concern for us both structurally and financially. The plan was to demolish and rebuild the full interior, correct/fix the supporting beams from basement to ensure proper structure stability, and do the underpinning of the lower level as the ceiling was too short. We wanted to change all the windows and open a few large sliding doors on the main floor and second level. Insulating the house was very important for us as well as updating all the mechanicals. We always wanted to buy an older house in a great neighbourhood and renovate the house the way we always envisioned. We wanted the house to look old/classic from outside and modern on the inside with some unique features. We always dreamed about having a large open concept modern kitchen and island as well as a freestanding tub with a large shower for our bathroom. We selected Regal Design + Build because of Arash's rigorous design and engineering background and education, as well as for their construction management skills. Arash, Ramin and their team exceeded our expectations and emerged as leaders of our project’s multi-layered team.
The challenges of our project that RDB and their team inherited were significant, and yet they were able to not only manage the project successfully and efficiently, but also with great success with regards to the design, permitting, and building a team of the best in their industries. This included obtaining a very challenging permit in just a few months. RDB became our trusted single point of contact by generating and developing inspired, rigorous and informed design, and superb project management. Traveling overseas also limited our availability for the project. Arash compensated for this by preparing methodically for our infrequent visits. His presentations were thorough and efficient, and at our request they even included other team members as well. Ramin also was so flexible with us as we made regular changes in the construction and design, and their commitment and attention to detail allowed us to do be able to make these changes seamlessly. There were various hurdles on our side, which were out of their control, that caused the project to pause a few weeks, but the pace at which RDB and their team were able to make progress was quite refreshing. RDB and their team were a pleasure to work with. They were professional, constructive, creative, solutions-oriented, hard working, and most importantly on budget. We give them our highest recommendation.

These guys did wonders for our home renovation in young and steels area . They were very professional and punctual and loved their work ethic. We previously had lots of bad experience with contracts and this time we had to research allot and we are glad we did .

Etobicoke Second floor addition and main floor renovation

I had my first dealings with 'Regal Design+Build' in the fall of 2017 when I needed to build a second floor on top of my bungalow in Etobicoke. In searching for a good contractor I called dozens of contractors from websites and phonebook ads, and eventually had a total of 2 show up to see may place. I never heard back from either of them to give me an estimate. One day I was walking home and saw Regal Design Build sign on one of the houses that they were building from scratch in my neighbourhood. I called their line and one of the owners (Arash) actually answered the phone and told me that he was almost done at the other work site, and that he could see me in less that 45 minutes. I was shocked to see him at my house in exactly 45 minutes and even more shocked when he gave me a quote right on the spot. Considering my past experience with contractors not showing up to the house and even the 2 that showed up, never followed up with an estimate, I was quite impressed. Arash gave me a price and a timeframe of how long it would take and explained to me exactly the process of getting a permit and how it can be expedited. I ended up going with 'RDB' simply because of that great first impression. Their crew were extremely professional, clean, and friendly. They gave updates on what was completed each day and what would be done the next day. I tell anyone looking for good and reliable contractors, that these guys will make you very happy.

It wasn't easy to pick a contractor to renovate our entire home of 3500 sqft. There are plenty of contractors to choose from including online sites, friends, and relatives. However, Regal Design+ Build was the company that we chose because of the volume of positive reviews online and their great portfolio of high end projects. I called for a free estimate and was quite impressed at how they offered to come out to look at my house so they could give an accurate and realistic estimate without any surprises. I was given an estimate on the spot with a promise that work would start immediately and price won't be changed. The price wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive. But the crew was clean, professional, on time, and didn't play games with adding extra costs. Very professional, highly experienced and yet extremely friendly, and that's what made it a great experience for us to work with these guys. One thing that is hard to find in the construction industry is people who truly care about what they do and deliver on time and on budget and these guys definitely had it all. We highly recommended them and would definitely use them again in the future projects.The end result was rather very impressive and turned out better than I thought. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to get work done on their home.

Regal Design Build is an excellent company that strives to fully satisfy their customers. At least that was my experience. This was the only company that truly listened to my desires and made sure to explain all possible options and limitations that could lie ahead. They have trustworthy, courteous and hardworking group of craftsman. The end was everything and more than I was hoping for. While they were not the cheapest price-wise, the cost was worth it in the end. You made my family very happy and I absolutely love my new kitchen. Thank you!!

Undoubtedly the best construction company out there! Regal Design+Build gave me great service that I honestly wasn’t expecting from a construction/renovation company. I wanted to have the entire main floor renovated and make my wife happy, as she had been asking me to make some

changes to the house for a long time. I didn't want to be involved in the project too much, other than selecting the contractor and take care of the payment. I left the rest of the design and picking the finishings to my wife (to ensure I wouldn’t be blamed for anything later J). We couldn’t be happier with the work Fresh Home Innovations did for us. They were constantly in constant communication with us (well, mostly my wife) to make sure everything was going as planned and to our liking. They also made some great suggestions, which made the place look even nicer and actually saved us money. They were easy to work with & were available all the time when we needed them. You should use this company if you want honest, knowledgeable construction and design contractors.

I could say this is one of the most professional and efficient custom projects which was done.! More than that, we appreciate all of the time and effort Arash & Ramin both put into working with us throughout the process. They were on top of everything and very organized. After seeing some of the homes they had built, we knew a quality home would be a given. The time they spent with us as we worked through multiple floor plans and budgets, met with the architect and engineers, made decisions, picked things out for the house (changed our minds and picked out different things for the house which means how easy going, flexible yet very professional they were) made the whole experience enjoyable and exciting. They understood our taste and style, respecting our ideas, plans, and concerns. It is very clear that they value their customers. Arash has been great to work with and really went above and beyond for us. He took every concern seriously and handled all issues promptly, no matter how small.
