On-site quote seemed good - said 4 hours was no problem for 2 guys. Told them that the unit I would be moving into would be similar, but with a courtyard to cross. Asked if they wanted that address, was told no, it was no problem. Day of move, guy told me that I had way more stuff than his manager claimed. At new location, he called manager, who then accused me not only of being dishonest about having to walk to get to new unit, but also accused me of hiding stuff I actually had to move during walk through - even though he was the one that did the walk through! I found that incredibly offensive. My original quote of 400 +hst turned into over 600 + hst because they called another guy and even then it took almost 6 hours, not 4. Would not hire them again. Mover told me this was only the 5th quote the manager had done, so he was still figuring it out - unfortunately, I got stuck paying for it.
