Expansion of Electrical Panel Capacity
I needed to expand the capacity of my electrical panel and install four fault protected exterior plugs and a dedicated circuit for a sump pump. Two electricians advised the panel was too old to expand so a new panel or subpanel was required.
Rob took one look and advised a new panel was not necessary. The existing circuits could be twinned to double the capacity of the panel at a substantial cost saving. The City initially declined the permit because the new circuits were not made or approved by the panel manufacturer. As the panel manufacturer had been bought out and no longer existed this was a problem. BUT Rob did not give up. He worked with the City and the new owner of panel manufacturer to overcome this issue and the work was completed as planned. Just amazing! Rob and his team were a joy to work with throughout.

Thank you for the review. Sometimes you have to think outside the box. Your project was a game changer for sure, we overturned a bylaw that the city maintained and it was in your favour. Thanks again
