Toronto Drain and Plumbing did an excellent job waterproofing the outside foundation wall of our house. Although this is a small company, and the owner works himself with a helper, they are a professional company. They came with their equipment, including a small excavator, and performed the work within several days, as promised. They also thoroughly protected the area and cleaned up after. Overall, they did a professional, high quality job. The price was very reasonable as well. I highly recommend Slavic and his company.

In February, my wife and I experienced the very unpleasant experience of having our drainage water 'back-up'. Apparently it is quite common for older houses (our house is a bungalow built in the 1950s) to have the main sewage outlet pipe get blocked by roots, and for the 'trap' to eventually get plugged. Slavic visited as soon as he could, did a video inspection and told us exactly what needed to be done. He removed and replaced sections of the main sewage/drainage pipe and did an excellent job. His friendly and professional manner is top notch, and his team is very hard working. His quote was quite reasonable for the amount of work the project entailed. All the work was done from the outside; they excavated, repaired cracks, sealed up the walls then insulated them. The work was fast, efficient, and thorough. We had an emergency plumbing issue in our basement that was caused by a clogged drain. He was able to come the same NIGHT to figure out the problem and the main issue was resolved the same day. He also suggested we can have a potential problem with the old clean out, so we decided to replace that at the same time. He gave us a great deal and his work was done very well and very quick. We had a bad sewage smell in the basement. We had a camera inspection done by another company that identified few problems with pipes under our house and from it to the city sewage line. We've received the quote from the other company for replacement of the main pipe under our house and to the city line. The serviceman was quite pushy and tried scare tactic to force us to contract them to perform the replacement right away, We were introduced to Slavic by our friend. He arrived within hours, done his own camera inspection and confirm the findings. In addition he identified few other issues that were missed by the previous inspection. Bottom line, he gave us a quote that was less than half of the other company and for more work (that included replacement of all sewage pipes under the house). Slavic completed the job in couple of days with minimal impact on our daily live which is amazing considering amount of digging. Slavic also arranged for the city location services, obtain permit and called for an inspection needed for the backwater valve credit for which all paperwork was prepared for us. The job was done without any mess inside the house as well as outside the house. He even replaced the lawn pieces that were damaged during digging! Highly recommended!
