My fridge was not cooling but freezer was working fine.
I called Appliance Repair Team, and they sent the technician. After his investigation, he said the motherboard needs to be replaced, which is going to cost approx. 900 $. After few days, he came back and installed the motherboard. After installation of this part, the fridge didn't work at all, not even freezer which was working before. He said, try start after 2-3 hours.
After 2-3 hours, it didn't start. Then I followed up, and they said over the phone, now I need another part which is 700 $.
I asked this lady over the phone, how the technician is sure it is going to resolve the issue, he was saying different thing when he was here. She says, "you have to trust us and buy the part, you have no option". So basically I paid around 1100 $ to them already and they are not even willing to listen to me. They just want me to buy that part.
Not sure if that is their real business, Beware...the way customer service spoke sounded like she was asking for ransom...her exact words "We already installed part and that is yours", working or not?? Where is the warranty?
