I have had the pleasure of working with Regan, Dave, Brad, and Terry completing the finishing touches to my perennial garden for the winter. I can say without equivocation that Chapman's runs a tight ship. They are courteous, punctual, polite, and knowledgeable. They delivered my order exactly on time, and placed my materials precisely where I asked them. I think that their high quality materials are priced competitively and I look forward to doing business with them in the spring!

Had a delivery of "Clean" fill on July 7th. I didn't know clean fill included garbage, chunks of shingles, glass, nails, chunks of lumber, bricks, gravel, large amount of rocks. I am pretty sure picking out all the debris cost us a lot more then it was worth. Also when we called about top soil we were told they would deliver triple mix which after reading about and talking to other companies is not recommended for grass. I guess you get what you pay for. Would not use this company again.
Update: We were told "clean" fill when asked about the dirt. Also were never given a chance to see the dirt until it was dropped in the driveway. Great concept this company has, if we charge you for delivery and the dirt for free we can give you garbage. Thats ok, will be taking my $10,000 in retaining wall material and stone work somewhere else. You should really treat your customers better large or small.

Very patient and materials were great and exactly what we ordered. Quantities were both correct with only a bag of screenings left over out of a huge project. Has a good return policy and friendly staff. Very recommended for DIY's like me.

The left is one yard of screening and the right is 2 yards of gravel that I had delivered. Chapman’s has been doing business in the area a long time and have a good general reputation. I’d like to see them stay in business and maintain a good reputation.

Chapmans Building Supplies is very convienent, fast and affordable. Located just off Kingston Road in Scarborough, their location is easy to find, service was exceptionally fast and friendly, and most importantly their products were priced exceptionally low. If you have your own truck, and are willing to do a bit of heavy lifting, you can save yourself lot's of money taking advantage of Chapmans contractor pricing!
