For the last 3 years, we noticed our tap/shower water was not as hot as before. The water heater was working fine so the only issue was likely our 13 yr old mixing valve (anti scald device in 'newer' homes). Anyway, I called 3 plumbers (one didn't respond, another gave a quote that was quite a bit higher, and then there was Matt). Matt called me back the same day and after a quick chat, I texted him some photos of the existing value and set up. Matt gave me a couple of prices and valve options. Although he typically uses a certain brand, he didn't mind calling his supplier for the brand that was the same as my existing valve (a little cheaper). Anyway, after some back and forth via text messages and calls, we agreed on a date for the replacement. Matt showed up and after an hour - the replacement was completed. He had to adjust the piping length to accommodate the new valve. Now we have hot water! I really appreciated his patience and responsiveness . Although my job was small he treated it professionally (he always called/texted back). I would recommend to others.
