Am Group Heating & Cooling Ltd / The Fireplace Club

After looking at several gas fireplaces in the AM Group Heating & Cooling Ltd. showroom I decided to upgrade my existing gas fireplace. This was mainly due to the fact that it was an older model and very inefficient in that most of the heat it was generating disappeared up the chimney and caused drafts. I decided on a Valor model as I was familiar with that manufacturer. The installation was carried out in a clean and professional manner (this included a chimney liner due to building code changes) and I am very happy with the end result. The fireplace itself has been lovely during the very cold winter we are having. The heat it generates is better than I expected and I can tell by my gas usage that it certainly is efficient - especially compared to my previous fireplace. The people who have seen it have been very impressed and several have indicated they intend to have one installed. In my opinion - a good decision!

I was extremely happy with everything that they did. They were very honest. They pulled through. It was difficult time as it was approaching the winter and they completed my journey. I was looking for years for a furnace, at least a good 3 or 4 years. I get different quotes before making a decision. They seemed to have been the best in my price range. I would recommend them to a family member or friend. They were there for me when I needed them.

They did a new gas fireplace I am now using this winter. The service was very good. At the beginning we had some problems but they resolved the problem quite well. They were handy and any questions I asked, they resolved quite nicely. I am very happy with the service from them and the fireplace.

I built a brand new house, 6000 square feet. They did all of the heating and air conditioning. I liked their quality of work. They paid a lot of attention to detail. How they laid the duct work and lines was very logical and smart. They didn't cut corners, they did not do a bad design. They finished quickly, there were never any delays. I know that when their work was checked by En there was only one deficiency. The threads on the end of a pipe were showing. It was fully tightened . The guys were happy to comply. Other than that, everything.

It was for a fireplace that was installed and a brick wall, they installed it all. It was timely and I did like the work and the fireplace works fine.

They did a gas chimney in my kitchen and they did Ac units as well with no vents. It was pretty good. I recommended them to my neighbour two weeks ago so I think they did a good job.

We are very happy with our VALOR fireplace insert. We put off installing a gas insert in our existing fireplace for years and hadn't had a woodfire a very long time. We went to AM because neighbours across the street recommended them. Our installation was a tricky job with a lot of grinding of the natural stone of the original firebox and a long gas feed required. We are loving the new insert and use it every night. In fact, we wonder why we waited so long. We were concerned that this model would generate enough heat but that has certainly not been a problem at all. The effort the tech guys did to install it was great.

Bought a heater from them, service was good and helpful. Worked quickly and efficiently. I have no complaints about their service. Would recommend to anyone looking to buy a furnance, heater and etc.
