I have a condo in downtown Vancouver and due to the recent flooding that happened in my building, I have decided to upgrade my carpeted areas to engineered hardwood floors. Originally I was recommended by the project manager from the restoration company that was handling the whole repairs at the time to use the flooring company that they chose; however, after talking to that person, I was not convinced that she can deliver the work. So, I decided to get some other quotes from other flooring companies. When I went to Kaod Hardwood, I was greeted by Stan, a very friendly and knowledgeable hardwood specialist, I presented him with a little piece of my current hardwood floor sample and asked him to match what I've got as close as possible. He was very honest and told me that he was not able to match exactly the same but he was able to find some that were similar. I asked him to come to my place and checked out what needed to be done. He came that afternoon at the time that he promised he would show up, did all the measurements and recommended which ways to lay the hardwoods in order to make my place look more spacious. I asked him all sorts of questions and he was able to answer them to my satisfaction. After that I asked Stan to give me a few different quotes as to different ways of laying the hardwoods, Stan is not a salesman and he never pushed to get the job, he simply sent me those quotes that he promised and allowed me time to think it over. I had a few quotes from other companies and Kado was by far not the cheapest but they supplied excellent quality hardwood floors. Dennis came by to install the hardwood floors and he was fantastic, his workmanship was just absolutely amazing and he made sure everything was cleaned up before he leaves. Kado is a company with integrity and they delivered what they promised, they will give you a peace of mind to know that you can trust them to get the job done right. Nowadays, it's very difficult to find good trades people that will even show up on time. You get what you pay for and if you are looking for excellent service and products then I highly recommend this company
