Aluminum Siding

My eaves troughs that were supplied and installed by Royal Custom Aluminum leak in multiple places at the front of my home every time it rains. When I reported the problem to the company they assured me that they would take care of the problem under warranty. A company representative came by to look at our eaves troughs (located between our first and second floors) without a ladder and chose not to enter my home to inspect them from an upstairs window from where they could be seen. Even though he didn’t properly inspect the eaves troughs he felt that the owner, John should come by over the next few days to provide a more experienced opinion on the problem. John didn’t call or come by. Whenever I called the office, I was promised that John would call me or stop by my home. My calls were ignored for months. Finally, after sending them a copy of an honest review I was going to post online detailing my issue with their company, John finally visited (also without a ladder). He told me that he would fix the problem under warranty but recommended that we complete the work when other roof work was being done so he could coordinate his activities with the roofers. When the roofer came by, John broke 3 commitments to meet with them. He promised he would be by the next day between specific hours and once again didn’t show up. When I followed up with him afterwards and asked him what time he would be over, he said that he wasn’t coming because “no one was paying him”. I told him that I had paid him in full for his work (over $3,000). He said, “forget it, I’m not coming”. After at least a dozen false promises stretching over 12 months and a lot of wasted time, I can confidently say that Royal Custom Aluminum’s guarantee doesn't exist. They have no respect for a customer who paid in full and on time and have no intention of ever addressing (or even properly investigating) the issue of my leaking eaves troughs.

Approximate cost of services:
$3,500.00
