Before interviewing contractors for this project, I was advised to look for a contractor who was willing to listen to my needs when it came to accessibility. Afshin not only listened but he was very thorough during that initial meeting and he informed me of areas that could potentially cost more money. His estimate reflected my needs and clearly outlined his responsibilities and the items that I was responsible for purchasing.
Afshin was on-site each day, working alongside his very skilled assistant and tradespeople. Each day he would clearly communicate to me what they would be working on, discuss any options that I could consider and answer my questions. At the end of each day, he would clean up and let me know when I could expect them back the next day. The quality of work that each team member did was impressive to say the least. For my part, I made sure that I had the necessary purchases on hand well in advance so as not to waste their time. The entire renovation, which included moving a wall, creating a curbless shower, relocating the toilet and sink, and installing a new window was all completed in 16 days and according to budget.
