Very satisfied with our experience

We had Dano inspect a potential home for us. Were first-time home buyers and Dano was incredibly attentive throughout our inspection. He took the time to explain things in detail and give home maintenance tips for us to use moving forward. We super glad Dano was our inspector and highly recommend him for house inspection!

Home Inspection

Found Pillar To Post as a recommendation from our real estate agent. They have plenty of home inspectors and we chose to go with Aaron. (They are all rated on their company website.) He arrived promptly as scheduled, was professional, thorough, and we felt safe and secure with his evaluations. He took time to explain the details and go over everything. Definitely recommended.

PreSale Inspection for property to be sold as is..

I was putting up a home I have had for many years on the market. I knew it needed work and I was not trying to hide anything from any potential buyer. To that end, the realtor suggested having a home inspection done so that all prospective buyers would see what needed to be done without question. I did not pay for this service directly, it was part of the realtors take on the sale. The house sold quickly and I was happy that the buyer knew exactly what he was getting for his money.

Home Inspection

Note: this is not a personal attack...just an honest, verifiable, documented review which has costed me significantly. I wish no one to have a similar experience after paying for professional services.
This company has every clause in the books to protect themselves from error or ommission. Anyone using these services must understand their policy which is a VISUAL inspection without any liability if they mess up...e.g my case.
Deliberate? unlikely. However, they will not take accountability for their errors (as humans do) and will fail to help resolve your concern. I paid for a service before sale, which I paid triple after purchase and even more now that i am selling. Funny thing..both times the inspector was from the same company and their findings were conflicting. Not equally trained. If you need an inspection, you are better off doing it yourself. Get some binoculars and look at the roof. Stick your head in the attic, wait 10 minutes, and take some pics. Turn on lights, flush toilets and turn taps on (things my toddlers do anyways...yup, everything works), look at the fuse box panel, test thermostat, look at the furnace and filter, check the paint on walls, look for cracks in the driveway and masonry (use binoculars) and lastly, do not worry about closets or things that are bunched up hiding problems. They do not move things and its only a VISUAL. I had asbestos insulation in my home which I was not told (even though it was clearly visible)...very glad I didn't reno or I'd be paying for the rest of my life.
All I can say is they are on time, looked professional, give you a pretty book with cd and maintain a friendly attitude...kinda like going on a date and paying for their time. (Date from hell).
PLEASE DIY or do some research first!!!!! Each inspector is an owner of the franchise so any problems or concerns...the highest level is the VISUAL peeker himself. Thanks Johnny.
