I have been meaning to write this review for a while now, as I was so impressed by how smoothly and hassle-free the roof was completed on my property in Scarborough. Alan was the person I dealt with and he was amazing!!! I needed to replace a roof on my bungalow before putting it up for sale, and time was of the essence. Alan was honest, reliable and his crew did the job promptly, on time and well. Clean up was done efficiently with no damage to the property. The price was also the best from 3 other estimates I had, but more importantly the work was done better than the last company I hired less than 13 years earlier (a company who is very well known and has higher reviews on Home-stars than Alpha but my roof had fallen apart). So if youre in east Toronto/Scarborough and need a new roof, ask for Alan. He promptly returns phone calls and follows up with whether you are satisfied with the work. You wont be disappointed! I would hire this company again. :)

We hired this company in October 2019 to replace our roof after reading several good reviews of their work. However, the team who were sent out did a very rushed job but when we pointed that out to the team leader at the time we were brushed off.
One year later (2020) we noticed a small damp patch but since our aluminum work needed to be replaced, we thought that was the problem. In 2021 we replaced the aluminum. When the other company (who are also roofers) was replacing the aluminum, they pointed out the problem with the roof - new step flashing had been put outside the side flashing (see photos). During heavy rain, instead of the water being led away from the side flashing (wall) , it was forced to run along the side flashing and leak into the house. The nailing of the shingles near the step flashing was also done at the wrong place. We didnt do anything immediately, thinking that with a 2 year old roof and new aluminum we would have no more problems.
In May 2022, when we ripped out our old floor to install a new floor, we noticed a huge damp patch on the plywood. The flooring company (who are also builders) pointed out the same problem with the roof.
Alphas solution to the problem was to send out a team who refused to look at the real problem and wanted to patch the roof up with caulking. We refused their 'solution' since they were not prepared to deal with the real problems. Despite many requests to talk to the boss, we have never been able to talk to anyone except the head of the warranty department (Jocelyn) who can make no decisions and just says she has to follow protocol and will pass everything along to her supervisor. When we insisted on finding a permanent solution (which Jocelyn said they also wanted!) she stopped taking our phone calls. Voice messages and texts were not replied to and the only way we could talk to her again was by using a telephone number that she didnt recognize. She repeatedly refused to listen to what we had to say and has now tried to switch the blame to the other company. We have tested the roof ourselves with a hose and it is obvious that the problem is not with the aluminum but with the mistakes made when our roof was being replaced. Jocelyn has constantly evaded the companys responsibility and tells us not to look back to 2019 as we are now in 2022.
This is a company whose warranty only includes caulking to cover up their mistakes. They are not to be trusted.

This company was so easy to work with from the start to the end.
They provided a reasonable quote.
Their rep, Joycelyn was very friendly, approachable and helpful.

They came right on schedule and finished the job in less than 5 hours, they completely cleaned up after themselves as if they had never been here.

I had a very good experience with them.

My neighbor and I hired Alpha to re shingle our roofs. We had animals chew holes in the plywood so I put a plywood patch over a big hole until the roof could be done in a couple weeks. Alpha shingled right over it and didn't remove it nor replace the plywood with holes in it. The plywood patch created a bump in the roof and causes the water to over shoot the gutter and come off the roof like a waterfall. They put a metal " splash guard " screwed to the gutter to fix it. A band aid. Not to mention the improper installation of the drip edge (also in pics). They will not come back and fix it properly. I would not recommend this company and all, I wouldn't trust them.

Amazing group of young men working diligently minutes they arrive!Job got done very fast but very carefully.The sales associate Jevy was honest and very sincere,up front,down to earth nice guy.once the job was complete the crew did a fantastic job cleaning up your place that no one even knows you just had your roof done!Thanks so much Jevy and your crew . I highly recommend this company to anyone.

Great job by Andrew and the team. Quote was the same as when I heard from him a year ago and it was the final price that I paid, it was also lower than most of the companies I called for quotes. I was at work when the job was done and when I got home everything was cleaned up with no garbage or stray nails to be found. Andrew sent me pictures and video of the rooftop before, during and after the job and the house looks great with the new shingles and gutters. Would definitely recommend Alpha Roofing to anyone.

Excellent work, reliable, customer oriented. I got 1 and 1/2 pieces of new plywood due to previous leaking. They even insulated my bathroom vent in the artic which was installed bare by a contractor many years ago. Very happy and grateful for their work

I had 3 quotes done to get my existing roof removed and re-shingled.

Alpha was very prompt and thorough in their quote. When Jevy came to do the estimate, he actually went on the roof to inspect what was already installed, and he put together a quote that addressed what I needed. He took the time to answer all of the questions we had, and was very patient.

A few weeks after confirming the job, Jevy called to let me know when they would be coming out to do the job (weather permitting).

They came out, started around 1pm, finished around 6pm. The job looked great, and everything went smoothly!

The neighbours were surprised at the speed the job was done.

It has now been a few weeks since the job was done, and I would definitely recommend Alpha Roofing, and would use them again!

Showed up on schedule, quickly and efficiently removed old shingles. I needed some sheathing replaced, ( I knew this prior to hiring Alpha) they assessed, brought in the new sheathing and extra labour to have the roof finished ASAP. Did a great job cleaning up. All said and done within 4-5 hours. Impressed to say the least. It was t a difficult shingle job, it nonetheless that were quick, the crew was courteous, they did exactly what they promised, no surprises. Awesome job.
