Alarm Force

Beware Alarm Force is a very poor customer service company they sent me numerous invoices for different amounts owing after I had cancelled the service. I couldn't remove the little sensors from the door and they wanted to charge me $70 a piece as well as $100 for the motion sensor when they already billed me for the whole system for $200 CHECK YOUR MATH. They make it up as they go. Shame on you Alarm Farce. Get a Dog they are loyal and great alarms. :)

In order to provide the most security for the best value we do retain ownership of the equipment. Upon cancellation we do send out a return envelope and customers who return the equipment do not incur the equipment charges you mentioned. We're sorry that there was confusion in this instance but we hope you understand our position on the matter. At the end of the day, we are always striving to provide the best security at the best value to provide customers with the peace of mind they deserve.

Alarm force

Never told I was signing into a 3 year contract with no way out. After a year of service we told them we were moving into a condo building and won't be needing the their service anymore. Then we were told that we would have to continue to pay $40/month for the next 2 years! Gave no other option, not even a cancellation fee like most other professional companies! And, told us we had to take it down ourselves and move it and at the end of the 3 year we have to mail them back because they are rentals equipments. NONE of this was explained to us when we signed up. Also, we had so many false alarms while we were out it was ridiculous and very annoying! They even ruined our vacation once cause they made us so worried that someone had broken into our place!! If you are looking for a sense of security look elsewhere.

Our sales team always communicates the 3 year contract of which is the industry standard and allows us to provide the best value in security. As far as false alarms, I can look into this for you as no customer is ever charged if a false alarm that results in police dispatch is equipment-related. We also offer national guard services to avoid false alarm fees altogether.

Alarm Force

I have been a customer of AlarmForce since March 2014. I am very satisfied with the company, the installer, as well as the customer service. The prompt live person response makes this security system very appealing and satisfying.
My mom is has also sighed up with Alarmforce too !

Alarmforce

I had Alarmforce for 2 months and the alarm stop working. I would call and they would make me trouble shoot and trouble shoot and nothing would come of it. But they wanted to keep getting paid for services not rendered. They continued to bill me and now I'm in collection because I didn't want to pay for a system that was not working. every time I called I had to trouble shoot over the phone for 30 minutes or more.I asked for a tech to come out, but they said its a $50 charge but aren't you getting monthly payments for a system that doesn't work.

False alarm

The worst company ever .very rude customer service .please mercy and forgiveness .more than 7 false alarms only during the last 6 months .being a 10 years loyal customer I phoned them to find a solution after a long half an hour discussion .they recommend for me changing the system to a wireless system and I have to sign for a new contract for another 3 years .they are like a tumour they start small and they get bigger and bigger by time .the worst company I had ever delt with ......so disappointed by your customer service service ....please hire more womens...

Alarmforce Security System

Long story short...I am trying to cancel my Alarmforce service. I initially called to cancel in January 2014. I was told I had to email. I did this and I am still being billed. I called today and got no help from customer service. They said I would be billed until I returned the equipment. I no longer have the equipment, so I cannot return it. I was also told to email to request cancellation again, but I can't find the email address that I am supposed to email to. Overall a terrible experience and I would advise anyone looking for a security system to AVOID them at all costs.

Security system

Told by two employees this week, Leslie and Matt, that they would contact me and my wife because of a charge made to our account because of faulty equipment. There staff was so rude they made my wife cry. Never use their service.

Alarm Force

Alarmforce customer service department should be embarrassed of their so called "service". I have had Alarm Force for 4+ years. We had a basic system that we barely used but the monthly charges were inexpensive so we carried out a 3 year contract. We moved to a new neighbourhood and continued on a monthly basis until we seen the upgrade to exterior cameras. I called specifically asking if we could upgrade to the camera but continue on a monthly service so if the camera was ineffective or sub par I would not be locked into a contract. Sure enough, the camera is junk, there is no nice way to put it. We also have had other issues with motion detectors not working out of the blue and all motion detectors, keypad and control modules have a battery life less than a kids toy, we are constantly changing batteries. I called Customer service inquiring about a partial buy out and was immediately informed by a very rude employee this was not possible. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was put through to voicemail. I left a lengthy email addressing most of my concerns and have yet to hear back. I reviewed in detail my contract and noticed on the camera contract our address was incorrect. I phoned again the next day to tell them with a wrong address our contract should be void. Once again the same rude employee told me if we signed the incorrect contract, we take responsibility. Apparently Alarm Force is not held accountable for mistakes, only their customers. I have now called 11 times, left 1 voicemail and have sent an email. I have still not received a call or any communication from a supervisor. This has been going on for well over a week. I understand Alarm Force is trying to make a profit, but even after offering to buyout half of my contract they won't budge. I have most recently asked if they can review the recorded call to prove that I specifically asked not to be locked into a contract as that would be misleading and be a breech of contract. I was told the calls were used for training purposes only. How convenient for Alarm Force. DO NOT sign anything with Alarm Force. They are simply looking to lock people into contracts with equipment and service that is inferior to their competitors. The worst part of all of this is the fact that a Supervisor cannot have the respect for the customer to return any form of communication. It is near impossible to get passed the rude customer service reps that answer the phone. Clearly emails to customerservice@alarmforce.com are ignored as well as that form of communication is being ignored as well. STAY AWAY from Alarm Force. The least I can do is try to save others from this mistake.

Security system

I thought I was saving money by going with this company $25 per month and free equipment! I WAS SO WRONG! You really do get what you pay for. First they mailed me the equipment which I had no idea how or where to put up. Then when I tried to call them for help no one spoke English I waited on hold for HOURS!! Lastly I found out I am RENTING their FISHER PRICE equipment so after a year of having it in my house I had to return it so I can move to my new place. Unfortunately when I was removing the plastic piece is broke and now I get to pay full price for it!!! I HATE ALARM FORCE! Beware and just spend an extra $15 dollars and do it right with a good company!

Alarm Force

May 28, 2014, 2:50pm, contacted Alarm Force toll free monitoring station to test system, was told number was temporarily out of service. Contacted Customer Service, same time, different number. number also temporarily out of service. How am I protected if both numbers are out of service. even temporarily? Did followup, they claim that the numbers on their website don't affect my protection, only makes it difficult for people phoning in for information. They were looking into why their lines were temporarily not available.
