GM Garage Doors

Matt did a great job installing and reinforcing our garage door. It has been very nice in the snow! Been working fine with no issues, and he helped us set the sensitivity so it matched what we wanted.

After having a new door installed to my home I started having malfunctions about 4 days later. It took several calls just to speak with Matt about this issue, and when he finally showed up he was not able to identify the problem and had to contact someone else for help. The whole operation seems improvised and amateur (almost no technical experience). During his visits to my home I found him to be rude and stubborn (he questioned me several times if I had done something to break the system). I very much do not recommend this company. I lost a significant amount of money and do not recommend GM.

I am a general contractor and I hired GM Garage Doors to install an automatic door opener to a commercial office. Matt installed the automatic opener but the opener kept on malfunctioning. Matt made a couple of service trips back to try and fix the automatic opener but the opener still did not get fixed properly. The office staff also complained that Matt was condescending to them and looked down at them as woman. I eventually ended up hiring another contractor to remove the automatic door closer that GM Garage Doors installed and replace it with a proper commercial grade closer that should have been installed in the first place. Of course I had already paid GM Garage Doors for their service and I ended up losing a lot of money. I highly recommend not using GM Garage Doors for any service.
