With summer almost over, we decided to take a closer look at our furnace. Sometime in early spring we noticed that it was not working as efficiently as usual, but got lazy about trying to figure out what was wrong when warmer weather started coming around. I decided before taking a brash and expensive action, I would have a company give it a thorough cleaning to see if it made a difference.
I contracted Alberta Furnace Cleaning 2 weeks before my vacation and signed up to their relatively inexpensive yet on paper wide-ranging package. After contacting them, they arrived 2 days later and began to work on my furnace and vents. One of the guys who came to clean actually remarked that he was surprised my furnace was not in worse shape considering the consistent poor maintenance and gunk that had accumulated in it over time. One thing I noticed about their workers is that they seemed genuinely concerned about my well-being and the cleanliness, efficiently, and durability of hot air and water in my home, which really gave these guys a human touch. They were remarkably quick and didn't leave a spot by the time they were finished.
My furnace is now up to par and I'm really glad I got do this for a reasonable price. I will definitely be consulting with Alberta Furnace Cleaning for seasonal checkups, rather than procrastinating and risking having to replace my furnace. 5 stars for certain!
