Paul initially seemed promising when he arrived to cut down our trees. However, issues arose when he postponed cleaning up and requested an upfront e-transfer payment from my father, a major red flag. Unfortunately, my father made the payment, and that's when things turned for the worse.

After receiving the payment, Paul ghosted us, ignoring calls and messages. We even tried contacting him from a different number, and he answered, only to promise a call back and disappear again. It's been a week, the mess of branches he left on our shared front yard with our neighbour lead to lots complaints and threats of reporting to the city.

Furthermore, Paul's decision not to remove the tree stumps, citing "professional" reasons, now appears questionable. We wonder if these justifications were excuses to avoid extra work.

JC's Tree Service is near absence online makes it challenging to warn others about our ordeal. It's almost as if he avoids reviews to conceal his unprofessionalism. (JC's Tree Service is also not on BBB...)

We make sure to warn our community, friends, and families to avoid this service who exploited our trust, offered subpar service, and disappeared without completing the job we paid for.
