Paul has turned my once regular home into what I call now a model home. I spent months getting quotes from companies to install crown moulding and wainscotting. I never felt comfortable with any of these contractors/tradesmen; however, when Paul came over to my home to give a quote he carefully listened to what I was looking for and asked questions if he didn't understand. He recommend why I should or shouldn't do something. Paul sat down with me to calculate a quote I was thinking to myself that could never afford someone like this, but he gave me the numbers I was shocked. Not only is he good, his price was too. We booked 4 days for an install. He showed each morning right on time with another gentleman named Richard (also very professional). I cannot explain how these two worked together. I was amazed. Every piece was perfectly measured and cut. Every corner flawless. Every nail hole filled. I have heard some people talk about work being done at there home and saying that it looks good when the lights are turned off. My lights are on, and even with a magnifying glass I can't find anything wrong. An absolute masterpiece.

Paul has done several jobs for me over the last few years and has always made sure that I am 100% happy with the finished product. He is meticulous and efficient in his work. Paul arrived on time and had all the materials needed for the job as well as all the equipment required for the job. He only needed to measure and cut once and all the crown molding fit perfectly, even though some pieces were 16 feet long. The job was completed in 3 hours. He cleaned up when he was done. Paul was friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended.

We put a second storey on our 90-year-old bungalow and wanted the inside to match the original woodwork we already had. I had several companies in to quote and Paul and Richard were the only guys who knew exactly what they were talking about. They had a box of samples and were able to match our existing pieces without any guesswork, on the spot. They measured everything, asked a lot of questions about our preferences and provided us with a detailed quote, room by room, so that we could decide exactly how we wanted to proceed. This was a huge project for us, we were investing significant funds, and with Paul and Richard we felt completely confident that it would be done right. They sourced the materials for us as well, whereas some of the other trim contractors expected us to do that ourselves. I would not have had the first idea where to start ordering solid oak doors or trim, nor would I have known how much to get. Paul also found us beautiful door hardware and took care of so many small details that would have consumed a great deal of my time. The guys were on time every single day they worked here and so clean and neat I couldn't believe it. They are very considerate and treated our house as though it was their own. We had dozens of contractors working on our house these last six months but there were only three I felt comfortable giving our keys to and allowing them to work while I was not home, Paul and Richard were two of them. People visiting our home are amazed at the precision cuts, angles and installation of our wood trim and we feel that the overall effect has added to the value of our home. These guys are absolute gems and we are so grateful to have found them.

I started a job and I needed to get done asap before the painters start. I called Paul Ward from "Crowning Touch" because I know he does quality workmanship. His prices are reasonable as well. We both (Unique Custom Mouldings & Trim & Crowning Touch) worked on the doors & trim throughout the whole house and we were done in time for the painters.
