They did a full bathroom reno for me. Not a huge bathroom but I did have separate tub and walkin shower. Reno was a complete gut, including floor. I alsonwanyed to convert one of the shower walls to glass.

Les managed the project and Alex did the work. Communication with both was excellent. Early on Les gave me measurements for everything I needed to buy ie tiles which was really helpful. They also helped me get a discount on the tiles I wanted.

Alex did a great job, the work was done exactly as I wanted, no issues. I live in a condo and both Alex and Les were great dealing with the condo- my building superintendant is really fussy and Alex made sure to check I'm with him and accommodate his wishes.

It took a little longer than I thought- 4 weeks total- but honestly not bad considering everything that needed to be done. Was also a little expensive but for me it was worth it to have a reputable company that was good with the condo. Also like I said, the communication was excellent throughout and that was really helpful as I would get stressed otherwise.

My basement was recently drywalled and I needed someone to finish the baseboards, trim and paint. The project was a little unique because my basement walls were a mix of drywall and existing wood paneling.
I used Homestars and contacted a few companies for estimates. Unlike some of the other companies, Les was great at explaining things, understood the scope of the job and my expectations. He has been easy to contact and both him and his workers were professional and consistently on time.
I am very happy with the finished product, it was completed in a timely manner, arrived on budget and I would happily recommend their services to anyone.

I was searching for someone to repair my dryer and came across the reviews for Joe. I called and his outgoing message said he did not do the downtown core. Still, I left a message not expecting much. He called the same day and offered assistance and to refer me to someone who could help me. Unfortunately, I had already contracted someone else, but the fact he called to ensure I had assistance is appreciated. Good customer service is difficult to find these days and this reminds me that there are incredible, professional, qualified and customer-oriented technicians out there.

We did the kitchen reno & the painting of our entire home - a job this size always has various challenges. Jeff was attentive to our needs and found ways to make things work so the work got completed within our time frame - we very much appreciated that (especially given the COVID challenges).
