I called Dmitri from Tile Stars after having a previous tile installer not comming back to finish the job. Dmitri came out to see me the next day quote the job and was working away 3 days later. Dmitri was very professional, punctual and always responded to phone calls or text messages. The job was finished on schedule at the price that we originally agreed upon. The workmanship was great I am very happy with the finished product. I have delt with many tilers over my various projects and I must say Tile Stars are the best I have come accross thus far. I will be using them again for my other projects and would definitely recommend them. Thank you Tile Stars.

After looking online for different contractors we're happy we went with Dmitri and TileStars. Coordinating the job was a relative breeze by phone and email. Because we went with a simple white subway tile, having good workmanship was very important to achieve the clean look. Dmitri showed up on time, was professional, provided all that was agreed upon and was very efficient. During the job we had some design questions which Dmitri had good insight into and glad we followed. he also provided some suggestions prior to coming onsite which also really helped also. We're very pleased with the quality of the work done, his installation judgement and clean up.

Living in a condo requires adherence to facility requirements and hours - Dimitri's staff ensured that all was in place and went out of their way to make certain that the job ran smoothly. Dimitri installed our kitchen backsplash. He was responsive, dependable, on budget, offered great advice. Work was very professional. Very polite. Highly recommend! Work area was left clean. Accepted his advice to reconsider original backsplash material that we had selected. Good decision.

Dimitri was an absolute pleasure. His work is impeccable - you can tell he's a pro right off the bat. He made great suggestions as to the tile to use, he levelled a section that would have otherwise been impossible, and he laid a beautiful looking tile floor overtop of the most uneven basement floor you could imagine. Probably saved us 10 thousand or so from not having to dig out and repour the floor.

Not only is his work terrific, he is always on time, he cleans up better than even I do, and he's always communicative. Can't recommend him highly enough.

We are very happy with the work Dmitri did on our kitchen backsplash. He gave us a prompt quote, suggested tile stores with good prices, showed up on time and cleaned up before he left. I wish we had found Dmitri sooner because we would have used him for our bathroom and front hallway. He clearly takes pride in his work and is very good at what he does. Dmitri and his team had helped me with the demolition and installation of new tiles and backsplash for my kitchen, foyer, and powder room. As with all significant home improvement projects, I had worked with all sorts of tradespersons (I counted at least 8) and I definitely felt that Dmitri was the most professional tradesperson I had worked with. He was very meticulous and would ensure that everything was done to our satisfaction. He was always very punctual and was very respectful and courteous to my family while working on the job. Dmitri was also transparent with his pricing, and offered to refund a portion of the cost because some work did not turn out to be as complicated as he had quoted. He was always very accommodating with his time, and had to wait and return a few times more than would have been necessary due to other tradespersons being late with their schedules. He even went above and beyond for me when one tradesperson had left without completing his work, and Dmitri called on a favor from one of his friends to come by on really short notice to complete an unfinished job that another person had left behind in order to help my home improvement project stay on schedule.

These days, I find it rare to meet someone like Dmitri who has a high level of accountability and professionalism. I can easily see how he has earned the “Best of 2011” award, as it is well deserved.

I called Dmitri on Monday, received a quote over the phone and had the backsplash tiled that Friday. They arrived when they said they would, were neat, courteous, precise and cleaned up afterwards. Couldn't be happier and will call Tilestars to do the next project.

Dmitri and crew were very flexible working around my hours. They were neat and did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend them for any tile job. I look forward to working with you guys again.

I started my reno with the intention of doing it myself. I've tiled before and I'm quite handy. Unfortunately, halfway through the reno I pulled a muscle in my back and the whole project was put on hold. We had a schedule we were working towards and had hoped the bathroom would be done before our vacation ( May 19th ). We decided that it was in our best interest to hire someone to finish the job for us. We had never hired an outside contractor and were a little nervous.

We found Dimitri on Homestars. I called him in the morning and that evening he was at my house taking measurements! We agreed to a price and he assured me that it would be complete before we got back. I left the key with a relative who let him in every day. He even went to the tile shop to purchase two more tiles that were needed on the floor. As he promised, it was complete when we got back - and it looked amazing!

Dimitri is a real pro. I would recommend him to anybody looking for a great tile and marble guy. His work is amazing! He goes above and beyond and in a world with shady contractors and people claiming their pros - this guy is the real deal! We are ecstatic with the finished product. If your looking for a great tile guy who puts pride in his work Dimitri is the guy!
